Oh I loved going to Jumble sales with my Mum and Nan. I have always loved books and sometimes found them amongst the jumble. Oh my gosh, such lovely things Davina. The blanket is just so beautiful as are the socks - I just love those colours. As for those sunflowers, they're just glorious, so pretty. Too many things to remember and you do have a lovely friend in Mishca🤩 Another talented lady. My mum was the original recycler, she saved everything. As kids we used to go to the school's annual jumble sale (post WW2) which was massive and no one had any money back then so everyone in the neighbourhood went. We used to buy old jumpers and us kids had the job of unravelling them, then they were washed and hung out on the line to dry in skeins. rerolled and reknitted. Happy days! I just had a piece of your lovely pumpkin loaf, it was delish and such a delightful colour. Even better the pumpkins were self set. See you soon. Love to you and Elmo 😘😘Xx

Hi Davina. I'm catching up on watching podcasts as I have fallen way behind. I love the idea of pumpkin baking. I also love Lucy's blanket. I agree she has an eye for colour. I'm attempting a Tunisian Crochet blanket at the moment. It's slow going as I have to learn the stitches. What day are you going to the Ali Pali? I'm going on the Saturday with my daughter on a coach trip. I've wanted to go for ages. It would be great to meet you in person if you're there on the same day. Do you take your own lunch? I've only ever been to Wonderwool and the queues for food and drink there are huge. Any Ali Pali tips would be gratefully received. X
