Liturgy for children in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow 

On May 12, 2024, on the 2nd Sunday after Easter, the Apostle Thomas, the day of Antipascha, in the Cathedral Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill celebrated the Divine Liturgy, in which they participated as praying, singing and serving at the altar children of adolescence. The special “children’s” Patriarchal Liturgy took place for the seventh time. At the end of the service, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was greeted by students from Sunday schools and Orthodox gymnasiums. Then His Holiness was greeted by members of the combined choir from different dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church. In the altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a brief conversation took place between the Primate of the Russian Church and the clergy and young sextons who participated in the service. In the gallery behind the altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill met with the boy Evgraf from Nizhny Novgorod, his parents Artem and Oksana Krasilnikov and his younger brother Makar. Evgraf wrote a letter to His Holiness, which Archpriest Alexander Tkachenko, Chairman of the Board of the Circle of Good Foundation, helped deliver. The Primate gave Evgraf an icon of the Blessed Matrona of Moscow as a blessing. The boy's parents presented His Holiness with an ancient image of Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius.
