Liu Xuan's gold medal beam and Yang Yun's front layout vaults were a thing of beauty. Especially Yang Yun's vault, I have never seen a front layout/layout 1/2 vault that was performed as beautiful as hers to this day.
They make the whole thing seem like the ub gold was yang yun's to lose, and liu xuan got the bb gold on sheer luck. However with khorkina in the competition yang yun can hardly beat her(although I think her routine is good enough to challenge the gold), and liu xuan did a great job in hitting her routine.
