The best on rings. It’s sad that we don’t see such strong athletes like him performing some rare skills such as Van Gelder, Zanetti or even Victorian Cross. Still, perfect form on planche, maltese and cross! I love his butterflies and his neck stretching while doing the cross 😂 Amazing vid

for Tokyo 2020, Liu realized that what will win the rings is the E Score - the D Scores vary only little among the competitors. so perform what you can do with the least deductions. the moves you mention - especially the victorian - would probably cause E deductions and for very little gain. Petronius is the king of this.

He won Tokyo with a D-score of 6.5 and an E-score of 9.0. That is absolutely insane. Everyone is a child compared to him. Awesome edit as always 💯🔥

His inverted cross was so level or even a tad below level early on, but later in his career, it's been higher. Did he get injured or why is that? Also, his planch has improved greatly by bringing the rings in to shoulder width. A lot harder than spread out more.
