Sam is the last person who should be giving anyone a hard time over meeting up with an ex, the amount of times he went back and forth with Tiff and the shit show that was their relationship!
@onlymargi - In my opinion, and fair enough if you think otherwise, to me, concern doesn't sound quite so judgemental and confrontational. He could have just said something along the lines of, 'Take it from someone who learnt the hard way!' but he didn't. He took the 'holier than thou' approach which now makes him look like a hypocrite.
This is what sucks about talking to your friends about relationship issues. If they have listened to you for a long time complaining and are behind you breaking up, they usually will disapprove if you change your mind and go back. I think you should stand behind your friends no matter what they decide. Relationships can be hard enough without having your friends judge your decisions. It can be draining and frustrating to have to listen to them complain for months, only to have them change their minds after they made the decision to break things off. But the truth is, this happens to most people at one time or another. I also completely agree with the other comment that Sam has no place to be judgemental, since he did this so many times himself. It’s one thing to speak from experience and give your opinion, but he is really judgemental here and that’s just hypocritical.
I never thought I would be saying this but MIC has run its course for me :( I don't care about any of the new people this series and I really hoped they would give Toff more screen time. I dislike Harry Baron and I really can't stand Liv's behaviour right now.
If you are a true friend id say support someone but don't make decisions for them. Its their decision at the end of the day. If you give strong opinions it will all backfire on you as the middleman. Let them sort out their own shit. What will be will be . Sam is only trying to be a good friend so good on you mate !
I've been a "Sam" on occasions like this....caught between a Rock and a Hard place, and it turned out that I was the "mug" in all of it. Would I go through it again...??? They are my friends,,,,,,,,there is no choice, I have to be there, I chose my friends.

Has Digby lost his buttons or something... he's not a keeper, buttoned up or not. He's shown some nasty and controlling characteristics. It's normal for someone to miss their ex, people go back and forth all the time, but you can't rebuild a relationship after that. There will be resentment and disdain for whats happened previously. She didn't deny that she didn't still have those feelings, she clearly still doesn't know what she wants but being with him wont help.
