Thank you to you and your team! This device changed my life. I bought the Push 3 Standalone after release and for me there was so much more potential. This potential is now coming step by step to the device and im thrilled that you keep pushing forward. It’s a difficult development and the customers want all features right at the beginning. I know many people missed their favourite feature and were disappointed, but if you keep pushing features from Live to Push, this device will be unbeatable!! ❤
Now, instead of instant changes, we need smooth transitions between macro variations, by setting a time in ms and a curve. Thanks for your video, this is exactly what I was looking for. It is very promising.
Great little overview! I’d love to see a video on how to midi map the transformation tools to the Push encoders. I noticed it in the beta release notes but it doesn’t seem to work properly on my end so a video would be nice to see if I’m doing something wrong 😅. Thanks for all your hard work, the Push is a wonderful device!
Love the idea of all your hardware synths on one track. Is this setup with an inst rack with multiple chains of different ext inst devices then create a variation of each chain solo’d? If you recorded a sequence on this “all synths” track, but wanted another sequence with a different hardware synth would you just duplicate the track?
You got it. I’m new to this idea so just learning it. Some synths need a gate because they are noisy, some have M4L controllers, some don’t. I just bought an old Akai MB76 to see if I can automate the patching so I can do it all standalone with my ADAT extender. Variations for me are like the new ‘fast browsing’ of just what I want.
In my ideal world I’d have one guitar preset, one bass preset, one synth preset, one meld preset, one drift preset, etc. 16 macros is the limitation that makes it hard
@@jesseterry1628yeah 16 macros is limiting. I thought new iftah’s performer device could help but the fact you can’t rename performer controls defeats the purpose
Yes - there is a default groove in there with the update. If you want more than one groove to choose from, you need to make a set on your computer and transfer it over, and set it as your default set (which you can now do on standalone).
@@JesseWTerry I can't get the swing/groove amount to show up by clicking on the tempo wheel. Are there some steps to take before it works with a new Push set?
@@karkaamusic You need to make sure there is a groove in your default set. There should be a default set that has this with the beta update. If not, or if you want multiple grooves to choose from, you need to do this on your computer, save it, and bring it to standalone.
