I don't know where Yoko's Danger Box fits into 'Mind Games' other than Sean noticing that using it as casing/housing for the entire box set would work, then there's that. But John's 'You Are Here' painting and the maps fit in because of that song, and his 'Build Around It' piece is also interesting in the context of 'Mind Games' and conceptualizing coming up with fresh ideas...Mind Games! Of course all the Nutopia stuff is part of that era, too. Overall I like the Ultimate mixes for the most part, but the real revelation to me are the stripped back Elemental Mixes and the Raw Studio Mixes. These are so excellent to hear. And now my favorite version of One Day at a Time is the outtake, Take 18!
I'm a big Beatles/Lennon fan, but I wouldn't buy the cube even if it was half the price, as I would find it annoying having to take the cube apart and re-assemble it every time. That's just my opinion. Great chat guys.
I think the sales of Flaming Pie box were not what Paul and his team wanted, and that halted any other Archive Collection sets. Since then they've only done smaller releases. One Hand Clapping was stand-alone...Band on the Run 50th was a simple 2CD set with the rough mixes...No huge box sets from Paul since 2019 and Flaming Pie.
