Jimin actually had the hardest time b/c he had the shortest time of all the members before debuting, and he talks about how he almost got cut multiple times. B/c of his modern dance background he had a really hard time switching over to hip hop dancing which has a different way of standing, etc. I saw a dancer's video breaking down the differences between the two and explaining just how difficult it had to be.

Love this! You reaction was similar to mine when I first saw this video last year. Everything about this video is incredible, from the music, lyrics, and choreo to the explosions and entire production. Definitely a song aimed at their haters. BTS used to sell a tote bag in their merch that had “Did You See My Bag?” printed on the side ~ which I thought was simultaneously funny and cool! They might still sell it... I believe the explosions are real ~ they had to do several takes because the explosions were scaring the BTS members! You should check out the dance practice for this, or even the SNL performance of Mic Drop. They have an extra section with body rolls at the end... JK and Jimin’s body rolls are exceptional...💜💜 Looking forward to more BTS from you!

You can see the dance break, the entire stage and all the members. (Look at 4K/2160p~!) MAMA's original video has a wide lens attached to the cam and tries to show a lot on one screen, but instead it does not express a dynamic stage performance well. And broadcast misses choreography points or solos, and screen change is not appropriate. However, the sound quality is not good because the BIG HIT cam has its own microphone, but this video is better than the original broadcast video of MAMA. And BTS MV has a lot of content, so when I first watch it, it is too busy to watch the video and subtitles at the same time. So, I recommend looking up only the lyrics (text) before watching the MV and then watching the MV. A bit of trivia, this song was written by RM and he was inspired by former US President Obama, when he gave a speech and did a literal mic drop at the end of it. Also, there are at least two versions, this one and one that has more Korean in it. Now that you've seen Mic Drop, you really should watch the first Tiny Tan video, Magic Door. It's chibi BTS and they sing this song in the video. There's a second Tiny Tan video but they have the song "Zero O'clock" in that one and I don't think you've heard that one yet. The chibis wear the Mic Drop outfits where you commented about them all having red, so it's easier to tell who is who. They are absolutely adorable, as chibis usually are.

This is their first song I read the lyric. At first, I just listened because I loved the song and its’ mood, then my ARMY friend just asked me that ‘Do you know the translation of the hook? You should look for it.’. I was so surprised after that. ‘wow, this is the first time I head someone singing songs to fight back their haters. They must have gone through such a rough, hard time.’ Since that, I started reading their lyrics in every songs. I normally didn’t pay attention to the lyric in any song especially K-pop song but my friend told me that if I wanted to listen to their songs I should read their lyrics as well. And that’s how my journey begins. Dynamite brings me to know BTS but their lyrics and themselves are the ones that keep me stay. (I have known them since 2015 but never paid attention to them. You can still find the original version here on RU-vid. The difference is the original has gong/bell type timbres in it. The Aoki mix has more of a touch of his style of EDM & deeper bass lines. Also, don't go by the "they don't use green screen" motto. Sure, in the beginning they did not, but that was because of budget & production skillset. As time goes by & they get richer, their music video production design & imagination will see fit what will use traditional effects & what will use CGI & greenscreen. For example, their "Idol" & "Dynamite" MV's use a lot of CGI & greenscreen, with a mix of traditional stage carpentry for prop buildings & anything that needs structures made of metal & wood. Traditional sets also cost a lot, so if you're going to want to save money, then by all means use composite videographic & digital techniques. The same thing happened with television & cinema. Rarely do movie production houses use plastic kit modeling nowadays for sci-fi effects because CGI can do it much cheaper & with better outcomes (in the right hands), especially when you have no idea if a new movie is going to make profit, so you might as reduce expense as much as possible.

Its actually no surprise if u love Jimin's dance. He is literally a dancer since fetus(lmao) but jokes aside, he really did learn contemporary dance since school and was a very passionate student. Jimin has a lot of talents😭 so his moves is always measured and agile. Another dancer is Hobi who dance since a kid and was a street dancer. They both are the best dancers no lie. And Jungkook is equally as good. He learned dance in LA for some time and mastered the emotion in his dance so he is really a flexible and great dancer. V is one of great dancers too, quite differently from others, he has his own technique and measurement, own style of moves. He only learn dancing for some time and during trainee years, but he is one of best dancers just see singularity. Also, his pop and lock is amazing as well.
