You are talking out of ignorance. It takes between four to five years to build a power plant. The power minister is supervising the construction of more than 16,000MW of power plants right now which will take between four to ten years to complete depending on how fast the investors are. The investors are (1) Siemens 10,000MW (2) NNPC 4,000MW (3) Geregu Hydro 2,000MW Siemens is also upgrading our power grid system from 4,000MW to 25,000MW in four years, more than six times of the present capacity.
