Whenever I feel frustrated with the studies and feel like its not gonna happen, watching this gives me a reminder for what I'm doing,it always appease me.
Me too . He shows how the real thing is . Theory is just theory , when studying and it can be very boring without practicing on board . For me , practing is the real deal, not the theory and studying for hours and hours . We need sometimes something to break that boredom that becomes routine and the you get dissapointed or depressed .

Didn't care for the introduction music, but the "jetty and cranes" music was good. And the "voyage plan" music was really nice. I still think some Indian flute music would work well in KSN's videos. Especially the beautiful sea shots.

How similar the navigation is in waterways, as in aviation we have waypoints, constraints, flight plan, weather, EGPWS and lot more just incorporated in Navigation Display.

Would love to work as a seaman to see all the different places you go. To captain a ship of that size or even a fraction of that would obviously take a ton of experience. I would be happy being a crew mate which I know takes a lot of knowledge and hard work but something I would love to learn. The hard work part I already have. I really enjoy these videos to see how it is and you and your crew look like a great team to be apart of.
