I love my Amara. One thing that I would like to see different, is having the scissors on the opposite side. I have to reach over with my right hand to use it.
I’ve had my Amara with Pro Stitcher for about 4 months and have only done one small quilt. Lots of errors along the way which caused me to want to give up but I didn’t and hope to get better at it. Nice to see additional classes will be offered. I prefer the 10 stitches per inch.
Enjoy my Amara a lot and find I like to stitch at 11 stitches per inch. Happy to know you’re going to be offering more education. Will give them a try.
Robin from San Diego here. I recently started on my Moxie and I'm excited to access more education and practice. My favorite stitch length is 10" per inch.
I've said this before, but I'd love to see more demos on Pro-stitcher, it would help greatly as I do mostly edge to edge. Love my Avante and pro stitcher.
I use 10 stitches per inch…and I love my Amara longarm! I’ve had it since December and have prostitcher. Still learning but have taken zoom classes with Adam and Susan Manry! Both excellent teachers! Btw, I am in Newbury, NH…
Sorry I missed this live but watched the recording. I’m a new quilter, recently got an Amara and love it. I had a couple questions. Can I set the auto jump to default to 0 instead of 6? And is there a way to set the machine to go away a little further on the initial pull up to pull up the bobbin. When I have the glide foot on it is difficult to get my fingers in there to grab the thread. Thanks
go to gear in top right corner of PSP. Auto jump is listed in the ribbon bar. Change it here to whatever you want. it will stay changed until you change it again. for the other issue, go to settings the same way, look for pull up anc lick it, turn off pull up auto and the machine will not automatically move away, you do it manually since now the machine will unlock right after it pulls up the thread. solves the glide foot challenge. HTH
@@elainedonnellyagain thanks. I didn’t think about the turning off the pull up. That’s a good option. On the auto jump I have been going to the setting and putting it at 0 but then I turn off the machine each night and I have to remember to do it again when I turn it on since it goes back to 6. I’ve forgotten a few times which drives me crazy so I was hoping to default it to 0. But if that’s not possible I’ll just have to remember. Thanks for the answer.
I think Pinhole Quilting covers the UK - based in Worcester but have Engineers that cover all areas, speak to Liz or Pete to for further info, very friendly & helpful.
