When I heard that Ohtani made history, the first person that I thought of? Billy Gil. Hoping he went to the game. When I heard that he had, today's episode INSTANTLY became appointment watching. I went to the Bears/Vikings game when the dome's roof collapsed. I forgot my camera in the car and it was the best thing that could've happened to me before the game. I remember that game more vividly than games where I was taking pictures and videos. I can still picture in my head Devin Hester setting the kick returns for TD record. I can still picture Favre getting knocked out by Corey Wootton and that being his final play of his career.

First time caller, long time listener, White Cubans talking about race is such a big blind spot for the show. Dan “there are no Asians in Miami therefore no Dodger fans,” yikes Dan, I expect better. Double yikes that no one other than Billy didn’t try to push back on him either. Take more days off Dan, the hyperbole and you being clearly uninformed is beyond grating. Your ego also doesn’t allow for anyone on your staff to correct you either because you believe to never be wrong, shoutouts to Mike Schur for that segment. We love you, Dan, but damn make an effort to be better. And please stop explaining and speaking for the audience, you haven’t been that every man you believe you still are from 30 years ago and that’s fine. You a boss now, so boss up!!! Amin yesterday had the equivalent of Klay’s 60 point game, saved the show. Today, Billy’s Ohtani like efforts saved the show. Greg pulling double duty, saved this week as well as back row Stu which we need more of. Chris had a legendary bad week woooooof. Dan and Chris, y’all two boys need to step up by taking a step back from the mic and let your teammates cook. It's amazing how people that are supposed to know baseball don't understand how stealing 50 bases is different now that the pitcher can only attempt 2 pickoffs. Before the pitch clock pitchers would have thrown over 4 or 5 times making Ohtani hit the dirt and tire him out.

@@bebosmetal Because this is about a home run hitter stealing 50 bases Ohtani is 6'4" 210 and Rickey Henderson was 5'10" 180. The bigger player's body will take a beating having to dive back to the base. It's just an advantage to steal bases with only 2 pick off attempts allowed
