Steve your mind is national treasure. I'm so glad you're still sharp and all those memories are preserved. There's so many people from that era with a similar lifestyle that did not come out in the same condition they started. God bless you brother

Such a great 3 show run!! Only things that kinda sucked about the Sphere was Oteil should have been way up in the mix and the overall sound..while crystal clear..it needs to be louder. You can easily hear anyone talking within a few rows from you. But the shows and visuals were a blast.
One of the Marin County/Chico GD Cover Bands played at Slide Ranch in 1988...The Webs/Deadbase - it was an epic gig....Help on the Way - Throwing Stones...were just a couple of the gems....I gotta find that video and get it up on RU-vid.. - Wow,.this is the first time I heard that the Dead were at Slide Ranch - Cosmic Charlie how do ya do....... Rock and Roll Forever...- Amazing - Great stories Steve !!! Peace,,,,,Thanks Brother!1
Man, you look so healthy and happy. I can tell this experience has shocked and pursuaded your soul to ignite. Unleashing the Enlightenment! Love you Big Steve.
Last night I saw a 1970 movie and Wavy Gravy was in it as a pot dealer lol. He was a supporting character but had many scenes, not a bad actor. He was just his regular Hugh self. Kris Kristofferson was the main character. I couldn't believe it.
Big Steve the Last time i saw you was at the Sonoma county Crushers game you brought your daughter, i asked some questions about Jerry his Irish side you said something like there from County Cork because there Corky, Love your adventures on video, will Bobby start writing his biography book just curious Larry E Smith
Excellent thank you for posting. I’ve been meaning to have lunch with Dave Miller soon. Great memories working for JSP during many shows in Rochester NY. Best one Robbie Taylor shooting bottle rockets back of the Silver Stadium Stage generator area in 87. Be well.
I believe I have the wrong date and you’re correct it was 1988 and it was at the end of the show. We had an area behind right and center field that had production offices and dressing rooms in trailers. The area also was past the generators and catering tent. The funniest at the time was Robbie was lighting them with a road flare and sending them in the area of a Union Carbide storage tank facility.
@@rodciferri9626 You’re correct it was 88. Robbie shot bottle rockets in the production catering area behind the right and center field wall. Right into the Union Carbide storage tank area.
First, Steve you are a gem. Two questions. Do you still do short talks at Moonalice shows? I have had that pleasure a couple times. Also, where did ya get that ring? I know it is said that one should not covet, but it looks sweet. Bless ya sir.
Big Steve, what’s the best day to shake your hand, Wednesday you tube show or Thursday seriousxm show, I’m there next week would love to say hi, love ya man Todd
Thank you Steve for being such a Beautiful Brother and such A Unselfish Spirit That just gives all the great memories away for just a Ear 👂 And a Smile . Jimmy
