सुधांशु जी, आप ठीक कह रहे हैं परंतु आपातकालीन के बारे में चुनाव के पहले जनता को समझाने की आवश्यकता अधिक थी। आप ने ये भी ठीक कहा कि आज की पीढ़ी ये सब भूल चुकी है इसलिये उन्हें समझाना और याद दिलाना आवश्यक है। परंतु ये अब क़ानूनी तौर पर होना चाहिए जैसा कि भाजपा ने संसद में किया है। मेरे विचार में आपातकालीन स्थिति एवं संविधान को निरस्त करने का वर्णन पाठ्यक्रम में सम्मिलित होना चाहिये। इसके साथ ही भाजपा के कार्यकर्ताओं को ये प्रशिक्षण देना होगा कि वो नियमित रूप से जनता को स्वतंत्रत भारत के इस लज्जाजनक इतिहास से निरंतर अवगत कराए और जो देशद्रोही नेता विदेशी एवं स्वदेशी सहायता के साथ भारत की हानि कर रहे हैं, जनता को उनके देशद्रोही आचरण से अवगत कराए।

Most important issue is that Emergency detainees should get same honour and help as granted in the states like Madhya Pradesh chattisgarh Uttarpradesh Bihar etc .. 2... 49 years are over yet Emergency detainees at National level are facing hardships in old age...they are facing injustice and discrimination at National level...BJP or NDA has historical duty,and obligations and opportunities to give freedom fighters status at National level.... This is urgent hope in new budget there can be some hope.. 3... Emergency imposed on India was most brutal attack on the very foundation of Indian democracy and sacred constitution.... 4... Fight against Emergency was more important than freedom struggle under British rule...fight against Emergency was largest civil liberty movement of the world history... 5... Lalu Prasad Yadav ex CM getting monthly pension from the state of Bihar because he was put in jail .. 6... Samajwadi party in Uttar Pradesh aslo started pension and many members of Akhilesh party leaders getting monthly pension... 7... Most of the leaders arrested during Emergency were victims of emergency they were just put in jail. ... 8... Fight against Emergency was by young people of India . They forgot dreams of life ..faced brutal torture and sent to jail and lived in inhuman conditions.... history also forgotten them ... 9... Unfortunately Janta party lost power due to cold war politics and ambitious leaders of Janta party and after returning to power mrs Gandhi destroyed all findings of justice Shah commission...etc... 10.. Dr sudhanshu Trivedi ji you are brilliant spokesperson of BJP ...you or BJP or NDA government at centre must without any further delay should announce some schemes like freedom fighters status at National level and help all detainees at National level. 11.. fight against Emergency was largest civil liberty movement of the world history it was more important than civil liberty movement of the USA . But unfortunately history of fighters against draconian Emergency is not well known even to Indian people... 12... Congress will never say sorry and never make apology.... 2.. few years before Sri Prasanna acharya ex RAJYA SABHA member had put his views in the upper house asking govt to do something at National level....but his request and questions remain unanswered. . Dr Sudhanshu Ji can see the record of Rajya sabha... 3... When congress government in Madhya Pradesh had stopped pension given to emergency detainees than hon' ble Prime minister had expressed displeasure in his public meeting in the state of Odisha.... 4... Some cabinet ministers, governer, chief minister, MP and MLA get 30000 to 25000 rupees per month pension from the states where detainees are given...they deserve it also because they were victims of emergency or opposed Emergency 75-77...

Most of the writers on Emergency have basically dealt with why and how of Emergency 75-77.... 2.. most of leaders of Janta party were arrested soon after Emergency was imposed....they were arrested in MISA and little comfortable life...as we saw in those days during Emergency... 3.... When we talk of Emergency than we talk .. A... Morar ji Desai ji and Sri Atal bihari vajpayee ji were arrested... B... George Fernandes was arrested but the fact is he was arrested towards the end of Emergency and German chancellor intervention came to see that he shouldn't be harmed... C... Kuldip Nayar was arrested but if you read his defence in Delhi High court then you will find he said nothing against Emergency and soon he was released .. D... subramanian swamy was never arrested he signed paper in parliament and escaped....etc... E... Sri Arun jetali ji escaped from home and lead a group of students...etc.. F... Kishore Kumar was arrested... G... Ramnath Goenka put blank editorial....etc .. F... Justice Khanna differed majority judgement...etc.... But there are luckly legends alive even after 49 years ..who defeated Emergency...which can be proven by documents but these unsung hero's are no where in books and articles.... We need a National policy like freedom fighters status at National level for fighters against draconian Emergency..
