@@jeremywarren5748 Yes absolutely. They have far more insight into things like that. I am not an investigator or any sort of officer of the law. I do know that defense attorneys are very smart and very sly. They often will say and do things that will create reasonable doubt. Is it not possible that the defense attorneys noticed the patches on the correctional officers uniforms and thought to themselves, we could ask RA if he’s noticed those patches, has he been threatened by anyone associated with that group. What if the attorneys gave RA thoughts of, has any officers here threatened you, told you to say things that aren’t true, do you think ppl like that are the kind to commit crimes like the one you’re being charged for? Attorneys are intelligent. They will find things that could be used for reasonable doubt in jurors. It’s good for their reputation and future clients to win as many cases as possible. And because of that, attorneys often stretch the truth or fabricate details into bigger possibilities of the truth. Because of those reasons and many others, it causes me not to be 100% certain if RA is guilty. I lean towards he is but I am just someone who is interested in this case, I am not claiming to have the education or experiences to know for 100% accuracy who may be guilty. I am just sharing my opinions and thoughts on a video regarding the case. And the main reason is because I adore Tom and any engagement is good for his channel

​@@PeterGibbonns they really aren't allowed to lie in court. You would get removed by the bar association. Outright lies... they are still allowed to keep their client's confidentiality. It's more avoidance, and not technically lying. Answering only the question that is asked. An example of the bar association always uses do you know where your client is? Answering no is not a lie, because you don't know... But you do know why they aren't at court. Trust me no one thinks their client is worth losing their livelihood over.

The defense can lie. The prosecution can't.

Agree especially about crossing the creek. The girls pants were described as being damp. They found them the next day even though it was cold during the evening there would be some drying. Also she acts like they swam across the creek- it was only a few feet deep and I believe They felt she put it (her phone) in her pocket and then unfortunately fell out when her clothes were removed

Another RU-vidr misinterpreted the PCA reference to a car at 2:28 pm on Hoosier Harvestore camera, but it was the witness who said he saw a car similar to a smart car at CPS at that time, not Rick's Focus headed toward Logan's.

Of course, it's a slam dunk. Anyone who suggests the evidence is not overwhelming against Allen is not being honest. I envision a "confession week" at the trial in which the jury hears recordings of Allen making 12 detailed confessions each day.

Who said he was wearing the clothes BG was? Who said what time he was there? Was that from the dan dulin/ Richard Whitman interview? He didn't get the name correct... But all the other details are correct? That is a problem. It's not a slam dunk. I wish it was. But this will be appealed into oblivion even if he is found guilty. We don't even know what the confessions actually were. I wish they had physical evidence like DNA.

Again we live in a time when you can watch trials, watch true crime and yes many many convicted on less. I do believe it’s a slam dunk if you have smart jurors who listen to the evidence. Not all crimes have DNA, what nobody could be convicted before DNA came along? Too many people watch fictional CSI type shows, it’s distorted peoples views when it comes to evidence

@@melissamuller6974 that officer talked to him like the day after the murders. Conservation officer Dan Dulin. He got Richard Allen's name as Richard Whitman, Whitman was the road the Allen's lives on. He got the most fundamental part wrong, the name of the person he spoke with. Conveniently, Dulin records all the interviews, cannot find this one. There are some major issues with this case.

@@melissamuller6974 I don't watch CSI shows. DNA makes it pretty indisputable. Fiber evidence, bite mark evidence... they have all been disproven... DNA is almost perfect. Here we have witnesses that all saw different things.... Different cars, different clothes, and completely different ages. Eyewitnesses are notoriously terrible. 3001 confessions... He was in psychosis. I'm not sure he has confessed... No one is at this time. This case has serious issues. Hopefully the prosecutor can put the pieces together... From what we have heard right now, there is reasonable doubt.

Many many people have replacement warranties on their phones. I see hundreds of phones per week. Many have cracked screens. One, I processed as fraud and returned to the individual because it was obviously shot at multiple times by a bb gun. Some phones still have their Sims and SD cards. Some are wiped. Some just need a new battery. Some don't have anything wrong with them. I doubt many people are still using phones from 2017. I made a mistake by not wiping my last one and throwing it in a drawer. I can't charge it to wipe it now, so I'll probably destroy it and give it to Recycle Force..

@@sealion4memarsh504 I completely understand that such things Can happen, but I think Holman ‘strained credulity’ when he tried to pass off a potential suspect / person-of-interest “just happening” to have wiped their phone JUST a day or two before they went to interview him again 😉. And his “oh, ho-hum, that happens constantly - yeah, all the time ! Totally normal - not at all suspicious …” - That’s the part that sounded a bit silly (imo).

To me it’s a little less worrisome when you think about Westfall is probably involved in something illegal or has things he wouldn’t want LE to see on his phone - not necessarily to do with the murders, just in general. Unlike all the people in Karen Read trial, who look very suspicious for destroying their phones, considering they are supposedly upstanding citizens.

If they lost documents why can't they recover it they recover stuff all the time off of people's phones and computers etc

@amyvilla5292 They can’t recover the 2017 police interviews with Holder because they were recorded over. Their machine had a glitch (maybe to do with a power cut according to their tech expert), and nobody was aware until months later what had happened. It wasn’t just Holder’s interview, it was all interviews in that certain time period. Written notes were taken by FBI to capture the essence of the interviews, so we have a general idea of what was said at the time, but not an exact transcript. The point being, unfortunately nobody can retrieve a recording once it has been recorded over - it is gone. And of course, we don’t know whether it really was a glitch or something more intentional - but so far no proof has been exposed of anything intentional.

Motive does not have to be proven to gain a conviction…..

I believe the extraction marks from Allens gun, found on the bullet recovered at the crime scene is damning evidence.

Timeline, wearing the same clothes as the killer, no one else saw another person, his car on video, bullet, confessions with things only the killer would know. He said he was watching the stocks and his phone is not there. Also there was a random number on the search warrant and I guess it matched a phone he had. He had 16 phones at his house in a drawer. I know we all have old phones, but not matching a random number on a search warrant

Gull appointed Allen's attorneys, and the current bumbling buffoon lawyers are the same ones she tried to disqualify. The attorneys were adjudicated to be "sloppy, negligent, and incompetent" after a special hearing on their actions, so I am glad someone still has faith in them.
