Psychological effects in full storm in this video. It was great to see how much better you played when that confidence came back after the first game and getting the momentum rolling all the way to the last game where you saw everything very clear. Thanks for posting!
@@mariuszpudzianowski8400 Mouse slip is a key ingredient in brilliance. Odds are against it, but the only way for us mortals to beat mediocrity has been random noise that Stockfish sees as a start of 10 move long vicious plan. But now we have rice on our side.
@@nizu9544 One potential cheater on this channel explained why his move took longer time than it should, considering how he had played, that he was cooking rice while playing and needed time because of that.
I really like how, after one loss and a couple of difficult matches, you had the opportunity to showcase your knowledge of chess and it made so clear to our eyes how superior you are to these still quite good players
I love how assuredly the Caro player took the queen. If I see a queen hang, I spend a long time looking at it for exactly the reason we saw in the game... There might be a mate behind it. But nope, he just nabbed the queen straight off 😂
I think that at 18.03 mark (after Nc6) white can play Bd5 and then take the trapped quee. If Bg4 then Qf2 or Qd2. I am not sure if I am missing something
At the 500 level, I threw my knight right into the middle of black’s camp once because I saw a chance to check the king and trade some material. It ended up being an even trade, but the game review gave me a brilliant for it because, had I followed it up correctly, I would have come out up one pawn. To this day, I’m still confused about why it said brilliant.
It was very entertaining to see you casually troll the sus player with those rice cooker references. You are a great entertainer. Or, should I say, chesstertainer.
Tons of people like that at lower ratings, usually they play instantly, blunder and THEN start to think. Maybe he was after a long bullet session? I know my brain definitely goes bullet mode after playing too much 1+0
@@mariuszpudzianowski8400 mate his rating isnt low he is 1500 elo and yeah did he forget that he is in 10 minutes or smh like that, tbh if he focused enough he would do better
You can make custom C Clamps out of pvc tube (with a heat gun). the PVC has pretty good strength, especially if you get the size just-right (so get some anvil or similar to make corners.). You just cut off a cylinder, cut a strip in that (making a C that's almost an O), and then shape with the heat gun.
I really don't like how much people make fun of the alleged cheater here. To me that just seems very much like bullying. It isn't at all clear to me that the person cheated and the explanation letter sounded very reasonable to me. Just think how you would feel if this was you and you did in fact play one of your best games. And while I very much enjoy this series Nelson, I don't think you should encourage your viewers to make jokes on this topic, as it just encourages the kind of harassment you spoke out against in your last video.
In that second game, when you played Ne5 threatening checkmate and your opponent captured your queen, you took NINE seconds before playing the checkmate. Why take so long to make an obvious move that you were intending to play? What if your opponent reported you for being "suspicious" for taking so long? Do you see how easy it is to fall into that line of thinking? The reality is, as you just demonstrated, sometimes you like to take a few seconds before making your move. It doesn't make someone a cheater. (Yes, I'm still annoyed at the way things transpired the other day. You had no need to call someone out as a cheater and defame their character when you didn't know FOR SURE.)
Unlike the opponent, Nelson wasn't turning on the rice cooker. If the the suspected cheater really was thinking for 12 seconds on the follow-up move, he would have said so.
Wow I actually predicted to move or a move that I would have done of course I get to watch your explanation your counter movements are predicted stuff that's exactly what I would have done Rook to b4 now for the rest of it
