Hey do you still do visuals these days? I’m a bit burnt out on video and want to stick with lights badly. It’s been two years and the more I reject my boss the less and less I get to work :/ how long were you in the industry before you had a moment that made you say “this is what I want to do” and did said opportunity actually follow through?

man, I never would have imagined as a kid people would be doing this now. Totally sweet. Im so happy to see all these gameboys still getting love, they always have been so much fun. Ive just been sitting here jamming this drawing something, I cant believe this guy was doing these crazy beats live on 4 gameboys for 30+ minutes straight.... incredible!!!!

This is so good. I only discovered LSDj last week and loved the evening I spent making sounds on it... ...I'm hoping to do some more when all my work is out of the way, but seeing what was demonstrated here had BLOWN MY MIND! And from a set point of view is also great cos there's something for almost everyone in it. Definitely two thumbs up to this upload and the talent of TreyFrey!!!

Who came here in 2019 after watching MKBHD's video featuring chiptune artist Storm Trooper!? I had heard of 8-bit bands but I had never heard of chiptune. Even though it's similar the mindblowing part is seeing someone mix live using the music chips! Incredible!

Back here because this is simply a good mix. Probably been listening to chiptune on and off since 2004 - around the time of the great "SLAY Radio". Not sure if those guys are still around now, but they played a load of chiptunes live every week back in the day. Good times.

Thank you DJ Cutman for hosting a show like this, don't remember how I got here but I got to know Trey's music because of this. And that made me more open to other chiptunes because other times I looked for them I stumbled upon mostly beginners just playing around or artists that weren't necessarily bad, but didn't 'wow' me either so the hunt for more was never long. But now I've found a couple awesome ones! Some through your TWiC shows as well, so I'll be watching more of those :)

TAG Media forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by USB controller? Like a MIDI controller with USB connectivity? Or do you mean something like the USB Boy for example? I ask because I've had a somewhat hard time figuring out precisely what hardware I need to finally get my chiptune on. Any advice would be awesome~

I think TAG means a USB Keyboard or other control device. Assuming you'll be downloading LSDJ and using via a Gameboy Emulator on your phone. LSDJ won't work with touchscreens as it requires combinations of more than 1 button press at a time for certain inputs
