This is one of my favorite concerts that I keep going back to--listening to over and over. It has such a wonderful variety of pieces that I enjoy so much. Thank you Gert and Martin for playing this wonderful concert for us. ♥

What a delightful concert on a warm Saturday evening given by two great organists. It was an awesome treat to listen to a duet in this beautiful church. Mesmerizing to watch. Gert’s fluidity on any organ is a sight to see. A gifted musician. Thank you, Martin, Gert, Marjolein and Gert’s dad for giving us this majestic performance. The concert was truly uplifting. Well done.

Thank you Gert for the improvisation of "What a friend we have in Jesus!" In Swedish it calls "Vilken vän vi ha i Jesus!" I sing and play this psalm on my RU-vidchannel! If you want you can go in thear and listen to it! Thank you again for an absolutly fantastic concert! 😁👍👏👏👏👏👏❤ Peter in Sweden 🤗

Gert, would you please consider playing Andre Campra's, Rigaudon from Idomeneo for one of your concerts. It was the wedding march played by my late friend Thomas Rhoads with members of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra at our wedding 51 years ago. I have it on a Telarc CD-80277 "An Organ Blaster Sampler" by Michael Murray, but we would love to hear you play it, and I suspect many others would, too.

@@MDLRX8 Just to promote Allen Organs and have a concert with two organs. And to prove that the sound of an Allen organ fit in de building just like a fine pipe organ does. In lack of some other digital organs.

Thanks for this great concert. I’ve been listening to Martin Mans for many years and now on Spotify for a couple of years and to hear this concert with Gert is awesome. Two of my favourite organists in one building. Doesn’t get much better than this. Gert....what organ are you playing on? I don’t understand much Dutch but I thought I heard Allen organ in one of your narratives. Thanks again. Blessings.

That was an awesome concert. I have heard more than one piece played on dual pipe organs before. Your concert was done quite well. I loved the last piece the most as I have never heard it played on two instruments at once. BRAVO! This raised a curious question. Are both of the instruments in that building connected or separate instruments? I was wondering if both organs could be played from a single console as I have seen in other places with multiple organs.

Ik kon het niet rechtstreeks kijken, maar ik heb het net gezien. Dit was echt grandioos. Ik had nog nooit eerder orgelspel op twee orgels tegelijk gehoord, maar het was echt prachtig. Heel veel dank weer voor al die mooie momenten, die jullie ons geven.

Taped during 2020 Covid there is such happiness and talent shown by these organists. Pause each second between 1:07:38 and 1:07:42 to see two men who brought joy to the world and still do.

Seeing Martin's body language... i hear some (alarming)bells ringing. Dunno, i liked it more when Gert played alone, and at the end of play sat in silence, speechless, as many of us did too. If i were Gert, i would be more cautious, whom i allow to get near me, especially beware of other musicians.

Erm, yeah, shows that body language alone can be very misleading. I am bilingual and, whilst I don't know Martin personally, he come across as very warm and friendly in what he said in Dutch. Hope that sets your mind at rest.

Theo, ken jij Martin? Ik heb al enkele jaren het voorrecht om Martin als dirigent mee te maken. En ik kan je zeggen, het elke repetitie weer een belevenis/feest. Ook als je zangkunsten tekort komt, zoals ik, mag van Martin, mits je wel jezelf inzet en je best doe. Kom eens een repetitieavond meemaken. O ja, deze 2 meesters halen, elk op hun eigen manier, een overduidelijke meerwaarde uit hun samenwerking. Het ga je goed, en ik hoop je ooit te ontmoeten bij één van onze repetieavonden, CSMK te Nijkerk.
