SKY should be made captain. He is a sure shot in thw format unlike Samson/Pant/Gill/Iyer. Doesn't have injury issues like Hardik and Bumrah. Had captained really well in SA and Aus series, is a selfless and team player. Hardik's captaincy tactically was below par in IPL as well as WI series
If Pant is getting a chance in T20Is after 80 trial matches, had a horrible T20 world cup, just one Pak innings (btw SKY also had great England innings in ODIWC), why would you close doors on sky in ODIs? Anybody can have a poor WC, doesn't mean u close doors on him permanently.
you guys discuss on cricket even when there is no imp matches, off field, administration everything you cover, whereas Olympics is starting in less than 2 weeks and just 10 to 15 mins random updates on it better rename channel as cricket today instead of sports. u only cover cricket
Two things to remember about the difference between Virat and Rohit captaincy. A - There is no doubt Virat is good captain but he lacks some creative skills while defending the scores. B - On the other side, Rohit proved many times that he is veteran at defending low scores most of the times. As sports today folks say there is only thin line of difference between Virat and Rohit captaincy until 2024 T20 WC which is absolutely not true. Rohit changed the culture in the dressing room and intent of playing while ball cricket. Credit should be given where it is due. Surprise to see why Sports today folks always wants to keep Virat and Rohit captaincy at same well….lol

Just want to reply for the people who are speaking about Virat and Cheeku , obviously when u are a star and in every match one camera is focused on someone day in day out ,so he is supposed to behave Unique or superficial , lot of eg in this world cup , if he is wiping his mouth with towel he is frustrated with Rishabs loose shot , if he gets inside advertise board then also he is focused that childhood memories.Accept it or not media is one of the reason of such behaviour or attitude of Virat. After all these people along with his fellow and old cricketers tah him as arrogant and attitude.Its not his fault that he does not eat junk, drink alcohol, smoke ,eat sugary beverages ,when u hang out with friends u can't deny ,so he avoids thats hi standard ,his dedication to fitness.

Kabadi team, foot ball team, chess team or other team reached there and returned back safe that doesnt meant crickers ll be safe there ! 2. You like it or not Cricket and cricketers in India is high profiled. How many times you discussed about team selection and predicted squad for other sports compared to cricket ? If more on cricket then why is it so ? 3. If any scare they give to cricketers it ll create more impact here and you may end up in irrepairable damage too who knows ? 4. Don't think Hardik should be captain. He performed well in the IPL he won as captain at GT that's his only positive. He hasn't showed captaincy acumen or tact and is not liked by teammates and fans alike. Don't think it augurs well to have a captain who isn't liked and the players don't wish to play for him.
Virat is a great batsman but a poor team player. He is arrogant, superiority complex. Fault lies with BCCI as well, they let him become that way while they themselves were just busy minting money.

T20 reigns should be given to Hardik and ODIs should be given to KL Rahul, ODI captaincy and being an all rounder will be taxing on Hardik's vulnerable body. Gautam Gambhir will also might go with the same.
