Those hundred nights of magic have been some of the most transcendental of my life. Such improbable heights of musicianship presented with such warm bonhomie have left me in tears of joy. in 1956, aged 13 and growing up in the UK, I was able to tune my tiny transistor radio to 'Voice of America Jazz Hour' which introduced me to the world of Miles Davis. Now sixty-six years later, Sean Jones takes me right back there again. I have never been to America - but my spiritual home is the 'universal jazz club at the end of the world' - now thanks to Emmet I've been there! Thanks, Emmet.
me too at clermont fd in center of france and more youger than you !!!!!! i hope to go there one day for listening this in a jazz club like that or perhaps in my home .....

If your heart doesn't soar at the joy of special people making such exciting music and the sheer courage they display in risking everything as they invent new phrases, my conclusion is that you probably died years ago ! The whole series is just a work of genius from day 1, long may it continue. Thank you so much for the many hours of pleasure you have all given me.
Congrats on 100 volumes. Congrats to Emmet, Kyle, russel, every musician, every audio and video engineer, for this incredible milestone! To many more streams🎉🎉
34:19 - Oh yes! So beautiful - I thought Miles was in the house for a second. Wonderful playing by Sean. There’s some amazing fiery playing here tonight but it’s the ballads that always get me!
Your weekly shows helped get me through Covid. Your monthly show is still greatly appreciated. This is the benchmark for live-streaming live music for me, it's practically the only thing I can watch. So great. Thank you.
