I don’t know if you’ll read this and I’m sure you won’t even remember this but around 2009/10 my best friend and I were taking a trip to Northern California from San Diego (our hometown) and it was perfect timing, we got to see you guys play at the Che cafe, Echo Park, and then some pizza place In Sacramento all in like a 3 or 4 day span. And I remember when we got to Sac we got to talk to you for a min and we requested you play a lot of songs like Fly My Ass and stuff that is on Candy Cigarettes and Capguns and your reply was “we don’t really play those songs anymore, you said something about those were songs you wouldnt want your grandma to hear” lol but you literally play every song we requested. It was so dope! I’ll always remember that.

I grew up on 69 Love Songs, thanks for the great Magnetic Fields cover Sean! Your concerts have been a great comfort to me.

Back Pack was the only song I could hear inside my head for about 16 hours during my first, life changing acid trip at 17. I remember losing my faith in god and everything and all I could hear were those loud, wet guitars.

I was walking home today from getting food in town, I live in Oregon and we had one of those days were it can't decide if it's going to be rainy or sunny, and I saw a robin grab a worm out of the yard next to my house, and I started to sing "Robin in the Rain." It felt really good.
