My third comment. In the 1980s sunyani was very clean, Many trees in the city parks and gardens and very good environment .The Victoria park in no.1 known as aerial one today was planted mahogany trees what has happened now that sunyani can not be seen as previous days but only brown roads and dusty all over? as modern world is concerned.
There's no side walk alongside of the road. Most gutter in Ghana are uncovered. Ghanaians deserve better. I do appreciate the roads constructed across the nation. Well done Mr President. Keep doing the great work.
SEEKER THIS SEEM THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY YOU'VE SHOWN SO FAR ,ONLY FEW EVASIVE TRADERS AND HAWKERS,EVEN ONGOING CONSTRUCTION WORK SEEMED WELL ORGANIZED AND THE CITIZENRY SEEM VERY DISCIPLINED,GOOD JOB .
You guys have done and are doing a good job, you have to be appreciated for what you do. We feel at home when we see such videos. Thank you guys a lot. We're definitely touching down next year.
Am prince oppong.wow is a been a long time since I saw Sunyani. Thanks Kofi. I went to Sunyani technical institute that was in 1985 . Ever since I went America I have not got back to Sunyani even if I come to Ghana. Wow thanks guys the next time I come to Ghana I will visit there.
The world over, capital intensive projects are initiated by central government and in some instances supported in part by the private sector. Whole capital cities are even built from scratch by central governments; case in point is Brasilia the federal capital of Brazil. As a developing country it makes absolute sense that key infrastructural projects are tackled by government and its agencies and the citizens must demand that. The people of Sunyani deserve that share of government responsibility.
I like your video very much, I once did one like this, but yours is great, quite long and elaborate. Great Education! I missed Sunyani and Ghana for sure! I did not know of this video and using google earth to check my house ion Berlin top. But not as good and UK where you can see the houses and streets very clearly. Hopefully in the future this would be possible in Ghana and Sunyani.
@@KingMe1 we have a part to play. We all know that many people don't pay their annual property taxes and ground rent which is bankrupting the state. Also consider that in the West, it was private citizens like Carnegie who largely created the free public libraries, scholarships etc that helped spread literacy to the wider populous to accelerate development. In the 1800s/early 1900s wealthier citizens in Europe would not hesitate to build parks etc but Ghanaians no. The government doesn't have the resources to do everything so yes, we should be involved so we can all pull ourselves to where we need to be. Look at how we came together to raise funds to build the Isolation Medical Centre at Kwabenya in 3 months this year? Instead of giving money to churches every month, we should be pooling resources to rehabilitate slums, schools, roads etc. We should be putting pressure on the extremely wealthy to change their mindset. No one needs 7 luxury cars. The average rich person abroad sponsors research in universities to develop technology or build whole wards in hospitals. The average rich person in Ghana rarely does that. They would rather pump money into shopping and traveling to Europe and the US at the expense of the the tourist facilities in their own country or continent
Thank you guys for your hard work. But you guys have already video the highstreets of Sunyani, what we want to see is the mantamu and to see the neighbourhood...Please try small ... Happy new year in advance 🎉🎉🎉🥂🥂🍾
Hi bro you have done a great job I like your record if you can record the road on your left as reach the first round about opposite the cocoa house on your left side left sunyani almost 20yrs know
2:26:30 is not the Regional hospital but the Municipal hospital. The Regional hospital is bigger and nicer and it's located at Nkwabeng North another nice suburb.
Still I don't like the background of sunyani technical university, the art centre and the jubilee park and the others. Sunyani is still lack of roads development
Well, if I can asphalt the road from Abesim where the video started to Dumasua and back to all the rest which are not nice to be seen as regional city,I will do it as it is my capital but let's all note that is the duty of central government and the municipal assembly to develop sunyani roads and its surroundings
@@nketiahkofi3949 we already know it's the duty of the central government but this attitude of I'm waiting for government to do it, is the downfall of Africa. Stop waiting and take the initiative. If you can work together with other residents and/or business owners to get something done, why wait? Carnegie and Vanderbilt in the US saw that the US was lacking libraries, educational institutions and infrastructure so gave money to build libraries, universities and railways across the country which pushed the country forward. We all know that the majority of people don't pay their annual Property Rate and business taxes so the government does not raise enough revenue to pay for all the infrastructure we need. We cannot keep borrowing from Europe and China to build. It's unsustainable. We have to do it ourselves collectively with the resources we have. It's 2021, ask not what Ghana is going to do, ask what you are going to do, and do it!!
