I live in the south of the Netherlands, which is not all that far away from Czechia. But with so many European countries' borders closed due to the COVID crisis, I might as well be on the other side of the earth. I had planned to visit Prague for the first time last year. If we can ever get vaccines here, I'll be on my way! Meanwhile, thanks very much to Janek and Honza for their beautiful and informative videos!

I vividly remember Prague during the COVID19 lockdowns, I know it's not politically correct to say, but it was the most beautiful it ever was. There was almost noone in the streets, it was quiet and clean. You could enjoy the beauty of it without huge masses of people bumping into you or making noise or taking selfies. My bf and I still talk of those days everytime we go to the very very crowded Charles Bridge.

We have a St John of Nepomuk Church here in St. Louis! Also... I was there in 2002 and remember they even had a tank on the Charles Bridge... I have a picture somewhere... to keep people off. Love the walk around with you. I'll have to get a beer for later to share with you guys.

I really enjoyed your thought on the love locks. The first time I saw them was in Dresden. I think it was in Buda Pest that I saw bicycles locked up and definitely abandoned. They were rusted solid. This seems even worse. John

Hey man, I have been watching your videos about scams in Prague but let me just say that Im glad that in Czech you kept the historic architecture of the town. As a greek, I always felt that Athens lost its glory by losing its classic buildings. When the whole covid situation sorts its self out, my first trip will be in Prague. You gave the 'legendary' reason why Wenceslaus IV had John of Nepomuk killed - the real reason was that the King wanted to appoint one of his supporters as the Abbot of Kladruby (a very rich monastery with political significance) but the Archbishop of Prague wanted someone else and Nepomuk backed the Archbishop.

You said having an empty sky scraper in Manhatten, fun fact: The.building in.Times Square in the center that holds all.tje.huge signs, and the coca cola sign I think, it's always pictured in the center, almost on.am.island by itself, that building is entirely empty and the owners make 100% of theure money from revenues from the signs...youd be surprised to know how many buildings in major cities with insane amounts of value are sitting empty

ATM story from my last trip. I wanted some walking around money so I visited your "favorite" ATM. I stick my card in and in my totally jet lagged state, I pulled out about $300 instead of what I thought was $30 because I forgot how to do Math. Luckily I was going to be in the CR for another week so I was able to spend it on meals and tours and other incidentals so it wasn't so bad! Never use a Prague ATM especially when you are sleep deprived! 😉

You say "delphin" in czech because it s a greek word. "Delphini" in greek. In english the greek origin of the word is recognised by the "ph" in dolphin, instead of an "f".
