Israel did, at the last minute, plonk a music festival in the middle of it, but even in that case, the resulting terrorism came as much from 25 Apache helicopters unloading all their weapons - twice - as it did from Palestinian fighters. Similarly ICC are charging Hamas leaders with crap like the mass SA claims made by Israel, which have already been discredited. NYTimes was sued by the family of their key case study as they have clear evidence she wasn't a victim of SA. She was with 2 male family members and then got shot (most likely by Israel as they texted they were about to enter Gaza: Hannibal Directive). Also, the lead author admitted on Israeli radio that she couldn't find anyone who could claim to be a victim, or any police department or hospital with a record of any rape claims. In any case, I agree about the political motivations, and in theory everything will be proven in trials.

This doesn’t make me feel good. Even while issuing arrests warrants for Netanyahu and gallant it must be prefaced with “condemnation of Hamas” these people aren’t fooling me. I doubt that the ICC will apprehend any of the HAMAS leaders. However, Netanyahu will have the most trouble with traveling to nations in Europe who are signees of the ICC treaty. The ICC should also issue arrest warrants for all members of Netanyahu's government and for the IDF soldiers who publicly broadcasted their war crimes on social media.

Hamas acknowledged some unplanned "chaos" occurred Oct 7 when no IDF security prevented thousands of Palestinians from going through the fence. They said then that they were willing to stand before the ICC. It is sad that the court doesn't acknowledge the huge numbers of Palestinians held by Israel, many on Administrative Detention without charges.

That's great, so you have a back log in this conflict, follow up on the previous charges that have been levied against Israel by the international community over decades and when you have prosecuted those crimes then you can get to the recent ones of Hamas.
