Anyone else say “Yes!!” out loud when Judge denied the dismissal for JJ’s first degree murder charge? I was so nervous and so scared for Kay and Larry, and Colby Ryan, and all their family. I just kept thinking, “Please, Judge, don’t do this to them after waiting years for this.” I was about to lose all faith in our system if they let him not be charged for that after the mountain of evidence (all with correct dates) they had and PROVED against him. Thank you, Judge 👏 👏 👏 and the state for finding a way to fix the mistake quickly!

I'm not watching this trial anymore. I am so aggravated. The Prosecution dropped the ball on the death penalty for Lori, and now this. The news is still saying it's not a done deal yet as far as it not being dismissed. The Prosecution has how many lawyers? 4?

@@StaciPS As the judge said, this wasn’t really a mistake on their end because count 4 was never one of the counts that could be amended. It was a clerical mistake. And to me, it seems like it is a done deal because the judge ruled on it and said the count of first degree murder for J.J. will still be included in the charges.

It was not a legal amendment, only a clerical error. Therefore, the judge was completely correct in the way he handled the matter.

This is a death penalty trial, if found guilty it then goes to a penalty phase to decide on life in prison or death penalty

Why does the judge allow Chad dumbbell to shake his head no at certain testimony? Isn’t that kind of like him testifying without testifying? Cause even though he is dumber than a rock, I can’t see him taking the witness stand in his own defense.

The fact that it was correct for at least 3 years, was done by clerical error when it should not have been altered and Prior did not notice or was holding it for later and it was always presented to jury by prosecution and defense attorneys with the correct dates used there is no reason to drop that charge.
