I had goosebumps at the beginning of this video. Reminds me of Japanese version of Archenemy. I rarely listen to female singers, but found this band on an ad on IG, love this MV.
The ad on IG captured my attention and I was redirected to Spotify, where I noticed that this band is really awesome! The video for Pirates in the sky made me remember so many other good japanese bands whereas also brought so many new elements that made even more happy to have found this band. Crunchy brutal riffs. ...Let's wait to see what the singer sounds like, and - Sweet guttural throat ripping passionate fury! Nice. ...Admiring the phenomenal production and the clean vocal parts, as well as taking in the Steam Punk aesthetic, and not just the outfits. That guitar and that bass are gonna be a most requested item with many a luthier. Catchy chorus after switching up genres, and I am so here for it! From a marketing standpoint, this is the mother lode of jackpots. This band will put fannies in stadium seats, and move a metric buttload of merch. The production on this studio cut is so pristine that I had to check out some live clips. I was worried they might heavily use backing tracks, but no! When they play live, they play live! Fate Gear has been doing this for 7 years and their live shows highlight the immensely talented drummer (Haruka), Bassist (Nino), and the incredibly versatile Nana on vocals.
