Echoes is not a "cosmic" song. It's very internal, and this is exactly what this performance reflected. Wonderful. ...and I like the boots. Nice touch.
In this things near 10 year existence, how have I never heard this before? This is one of the most beautiful covers of this I've ever heard, probably my favorite! Excellent job! Richard Wright would be proud :)

Vika... you are the ONLY person I know who feels the minimalist beauty in those opening notes by Richard Wright. I know you felt them too, because you chose to end your rendition with them, as well. Excellent performance of those moods. I loved when Richard played the grand through the Leslie, but I didn't miss it in this non-effected performance.
My father was a huge classical music lover. I played this for him one time. He compared it to Revell and loved it. Told him it was Pink Floyd. LoL Who? Break boundaries and share the love. Brilliant piece played from the heart.

This performance was inspired and beautiful - I can't tell at this point how many dozens of times I've listened to this. Someone I just put it on loop and listen again and again. Amazing.

It isnt just that floyd isnt a pop band, also it is you asuming pop music doesnt express anything, it may be that, popular music only focus on how to get to the public with trends and all of that, and pop is popular music, but that doesnt mean that all pop music dont have anything to express or that what pop music express isnt good enough as, i dont know, wagner expression. Listen to the last album of tame impala, then you will understand that pop have a lot to offer. (sorry for my english)

richard wright would love too hear this.i cry when i hear my favorite song nothing will beat echoes from my favorites.when i die i won't echoes played and the great gig in the sky.i was playing great in the sky when my grandpa died.i am sure it was the most pretty thing he heard.

I just started playing piano 2 months ago. I was taking singing lessons after teaching myself some guitar. I deeply wanted to play piano. My singing teacher gave me a piano! It's been about 2 months and I have played everyday as much as possible even if it's just a few minutes before a long day at work. Taking the train home I watch piano videos and visualize songs that I'm working on. Basically I'm obsessed. My Brian understands music and I await for my fingers to come along and my brain to get faster at reading. Is it possible to attain this advanced skill level. I'm a late player starting at 36. When will I be this skilled?! Sigh
Excuse me, Miss..... but playing Echoes on the piano gives you the key to my heart. I've been a Pink Floyd fan for 45 years and this is my favorite piece of music on Earth.
