LIVE | India China Border Conflict: New Provocation Over Arunachal | Vantage with Palki Sharma
India's plan to build 12 hydropower plants in Arunachal Pradesh has sparked fresh border tensions with China. Beijing claims the northeastern state, which it refers to as "South Tibet," as part of its territory. Through these hydropower plants, New Delhi aims to bridge the country's growing electricity gap with clean hydropower and boost development in Arunachal Pradesh. However, China has opposed the plan, stating that India has "no right" to construct these plants. Beijing's objections stem from its territorial claims on Arunachal Pradesh. China views the planned hydropower plants as India's attempt to strengthen its hold on the region.
Beijing itself has plans to build a "super dam" on this river in Tibet, and New Delhi's projects could potentially impact the Chinese ambitions. Experts believe Beijing's objections are part of a larger strategy to establish an "alternative reality" regarding Arunachal Pradesh. On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma tells you more.

The narrative propagated by US/CIA and India regarding Tibet being invaded is false. Tibetan separatist movements result from external forces such as British Empire, Russia and Mongolia, for their own geopolitical reasons at various times around the early 1900’s. They fomented separation and supplied arms and funds to Tibetan rebels. Also, British India also invaded Tibet and forced Tibet to sign the Simila Convention, thereby robbing Tibet’s territory northward up to the McMahon Line. In addition, CIA also fomented separation and supplies arms and funds to Tibetan separatists in the 1950s and 1960s. All these caused Tibet’s and temporary “independence” and separation from China. So, China did not invade Tibet. China had to use force to re-take Tibet after being “independent “temporarily.

Arunachal Pradesh is stolen territory from Tibet. British India invaded Tibet and forced Tibet to sign the Simla Convention, chopping off Tibet's territory at the McMahon line, thus expanded into Tibet's territory. British India/Raj stole 60 miles of territory (about 32,333 square miles) north of Assam up to the McMahon line. This is Tibet's territory which British India did not previously own. This is an ill-got gain of territory by conquest and invasion. India inheriting the ill-got gained territory is no excuse to keeping the stolen territory. So British Raj and India were and are the wrongdoer, the expansionist, and the bully.

Jallikattu is a tradition where bulls are not killed.. their owners treat them like one of their own in the family and take very good care of them.. there is no blood shed in jallikattu and even if so, atleast it's not not the bull..iys usually the youth that participate that get injured or even killed..so by making such false allegations and insane comparisons with sinilar western traditions, please dont undermine our rich tamil culture and traditions... We love our bulls..and jallikattu is absolutely important to protect these native cattle breeds from becoming rare and extinct....

Strange gathering outcomes from NATO given almost 59% of manufacturing in China is through companies either owned or part owned by western organisations. The western companies are not going to leave China and leave the factories behind. The companies could not stand the right down cost to right off the factories and to try to build new factories within there own countries with all the EPA restrictions and higher labour costs involved while trying to seek products back into the Chinese market place.
