Good for academic purpose but.. 1. All these backtests correspond to a uptrend market. It would be interesting to check the point-to-point returns in same duration. 2. Simple strategies like these on moving-averages will not work in today's markets, where most of the trading happens using algos, which are more complex and have the advantage of leading indicators and correlations.

I created this strategy on Streak by just changing the buy signal to sell and Sell to Buy then its giving positive result

Thanks sir. How do you avoid trading whipsaws and choppy crossovers while using moving averages? If you have 20 wins, you'll also have 80 losing trades because of choppiness.

if algo is the future then i think trading will be over..no one will be able to make profit as all will be on different algos,or profits will be very miniscule,and algo makers will make money by selling their products.

is nifty/banknifty ya titan ke 1 lot ko 2 months trade carry karne me kitna capital lagana padega ye bataiyega; aur kitna brokerage charges laga aur kitne other expenses like stt, gst etc laga ye bhi udaharan ke taur pe bataiyega please. algo trading ka brokerage rate normal trading jaisa lagta hai ya usase kum ya zyada? you are doing really amazing, helpful service to us. thank you very much.

As far as I know Algo trading is not allowed by SEBI for reatail traders in India.. Don't know the logic behind this rule. It seems to be that this rule has been set to benefits the big players, as they do all system based Algo trades, and small fishes like retail traders would keep trading with emotions and continue making losses. Even though Algo trading is more system and logic based with no emotions and strict stop losses, still SEBI has not allowed it for retail traders (small fishes).

Mr Kunal, greetings! After seeing the video, I find that this example is actually not an intraday setup but a stop and reverse positional setup, albiet on a 15 minute chart. Nonetheless, it's a food for thought, and one would henceforth want to look at algos as the new way for executing non emotional rule based trading after seeing this video. I will look forward to some jntraday algo setups in the coming days.

Sir as per your strategy there should no loss because EMA would either go down 13 day or remain up if both sides are covered then why so low success rate? Not doubting the strategy but a curious question.
