Thanks for the video and explanation, really useful. You said you have not made many changes since your last video, but you have Dark World Dealings in your deck too now. What changes did you make to make room for that?
Feel like when you open that trap-heavy as Traptrix you should probably opt to go for Pingu searching Campa to protect the 4 sets... What he did was really greedy, opting for the FIFTH negate instead of the 4 + protection.
Love the dark world deck and duel, hate the player attitude, the laughing and making fun of was very ass of a player. It’s not that deep its still a children’s card game
It’s not for children. Despite what the TCG says, it’s not for children. Keep in mind, the Yugioh OCG is for teenage players in Japan and has been since 1999. Same demographic as MTG. In fact, every OCG pack, deck and set all say on the backs; All YU-GI-OH! OCG packs say: “対象年齢12才以上” (Translation: “Target age 12 years and older”) Which implies it’s for early teens or older. Understand that in Japan and other countries, a standard teen rating is 12 and up. Same concept and principle but merely one year lower. Now yes, teenagers are “kids”, but when you say “children” that’s stooping low cuz that’s like saying MTG is a children’s card game cuz it’s 13 and up. But the fact, Konami made the OCG for ages 12 and up cuz of how complex the OCG really is. And it’s more complex today than it was then. Now TCG’s age range being “6 and up” was due to censorship and Upperdeck when they used to run the game. Plus be real, no kid that age can comprehend this game. Again, Konami knew they were making a competitive card game for early to late teen players to rival MTG’s player base. That’s why both games are for ages “12 and up” in Japan. Also Yugioh is a Shonen series. Shonen manga and anime, mainly target early to late teen boys (12-18). And the OCG and TCG are legally separate games according to Konami. Cuz even after they took over the TCG rights from Upper Deck, they couldn’t change anything due to legal reasons. But due to the fact, Yugioh is primarily for a teen demographic in Japan, that’s the main demographic for the franchise as a whole (except Rush Duels and the anime that promotes it).
