The 'Hunar Se Rozgar' initiative is empowering aspiring youths from the hill districts of Kangpokpi and Churachandpur by providing training in the hospitality sector. With a goal to train 2,000 individuals, around 400 youths have already received training, and 169, including 98 internally displaced persons (IDPs), have secured employment with four different companies. To further support IDPs, the state government is offering one-way tickets to Guwahati and, if needed, chopper services to Imphal Airport. This initiative not only equips participants with valuable skills but also fosters unity among diverse communities as they train and work together toward a common future.
