Hi Jon, nice result on a nasty day I bet you were satisfied with that! With that perch prize on offer I’m surprised you didn’t put some chopped lobworms in ok they are not cheap but I find they often outfish dendro’s by a big margin! That old pole may be battered but I wish I could afford it! Looking forward to your next outing regards Bill

Nice one Jon, very good win i was watching the last half hour of a silverfish only match at my local commercial the other day, noticed everyone just had the one keepnet and i thought thats something i could do....dont fancy matches where you need at least 2 keepnets. Looks like maggots and casters would be the best bet for these matches. In this were you using 3 different groundbaits all mixed together? i noticed one was specifically for Bream, looks like thats what helped to catch you those Skimmers...probably made the difference in winning you the match.

I have never seen this kind of fishing before. Very interesting. What are those extension rods made from? Those maggots sure look yummy. You battled the weather and won.

With a silver only contest are you allowed to keep what carp you catch in a separate keepnet to minimise the number in your swim?

How are you finding the matrix tackle , notice you have still the white pole top kits .
