I’ve wondered in recent years if a lighter solid elastic is the way forward in situations like this at tunnel where you pretty much know the stamp of fish. An 8 solid through one of those short stops would surely speed up the catch rate?
Wow like a well oiled machine ..awesome skills ...how many pints of maggots did you actually take? You said you used nine in the match ...nice fishing Jack well done on the result fella ..
Dave Jones he took 12 pints with him but not all of those were fresh. Jack fished with maggots twice a week so any that don't get used get cooled right down after the match and he just saves them for the next time he goes out and as you can imagine they build up over time as he's not always going to use them.
Wow nine pints? for my pleasure sessions i've never took more than half a pint. I've seen different advice on You Tube about how to feed, how much to feed etc i think next time i might take more bait. I fished with the same 4mm soft hooker F1 sweet pellets on Sunday and i caught a fair amount of Bream with some Carp and one F1. I didnt have any of that F1 sweet groundbait though, thats the obvious choice to go with those 4mm pellets. Those F1 sweet pellets, with the F1 sweet groundbait and casters i'm hoping will haul in a nice bag of F1's and Carp on Saturday.
Michael Leneghan don't worry about it mate there are just the odd few trolls on RU-vid that just try to get a reaction out of people which they won't get from us lol. We actually find it quite funny as they have no impact on anything that we do. A 👎 is absolutely fine because it means nothing at all. Thanks for your kind comment it's much appreciated

I enjoy these videos , was a bit confused though , I thought it was a match you were fishing and it looks like you have the pool to yourself , and you say you never feed while fishing . But you were 🤔
I think Jack means that would be the ideal technique, obviously his elastic isn’t going to be pulled out every time so you will have to adapt in the match 👍
Jack was one of the first on his peg and the anglers around him hadn't set up when he was doing the introduction that's why it looks quiet. During the match you can see that he is clearly surrounded by other anglers. It's called watercraft mate like ryan Gibson has said in his comment we can give you basic tips as a guide but you need to react to how the fish are feeding like jack was and it obviously worked because he won the match 👍. C&R Fishing masterclass I’m not knocking the lad , just doesn’t make much sense , he says it was tightly pegged but can’t see another angler . You say he was the first to he’s peg . But after setting up he’s gear and the camera and stuff not one angler got to he’s peg on the left hand side of the lake that you can see the length of . Just looked like a days pleasure fishing . Well done like , easy days at tunnel barn , beginners paradise . Got a good future ahead of him if he keeps putting bags like that together.
millsy no I'm not trying to say your knocking him mate. Jack is a regular at tunnel barn and his idea of tight pegging and your idea of tight pegging might be different mate that's all. 👍
