President Museveni is addressing the nation on issues of wealth creation and other matters of national importance.
The address comes at a time the President continues to preach the wealth creation gospel to Ugandans.
Recently, Museveni challenged Cabinet ministers and the NRM top organ to help him in preaching the message to help Ugandans get out of poverty.
It is unclear if the President is to also address corruption at the Parliament and among government officials, a topic that has been dominating headlines in the recent weeks.
The address is live on Ben-LIVE You Tube channel, all major radio and television stations, as well as other digital platforms.

The President's issue on mis use of wetlands should be well balanced not to leave the high-profile in the government,plus untouched so called investors. All these wetland settlement must be evicted as the poor people have been handled.

Because the farmers,according to this address,wanted to increase their wealth,they said that apart from coffee, maize, and potatoes, among others, should be classified as cash crops also.

One noticed the linkage between the commercial agriculture and manufacturing.The cotton cultivated in the farms fed into the textile industry while the milk were processed also in the industry The result is that the manufacturing sector has earned $2.5 billion and employed almost one million people.

The government wealth creation program has seen tales of successes. These successes could be seen in the houses the participants lived before and during their participation in the program.Besides most of them have switched to using tractors on their farms.Others have called the banks to set up branches in their communities to facilitate ease deposit of funds while others have formed co-operative societies.Many have expanded their farmland to include other cash crops.

I wish these people would tell us how much they invest in and how much they get and in what period. I don't believe in what they have presented because of that. The data is incomplete and not real. The issue of records is more important. The president has a good approach but if evidence input/output is lacking, who can understand such life of a business??

Uganda has become personal and he takes up state matters as if they are personal and private.How one takes himself, attitude, passive and it's just weird how an elected leader addresses public servants , citizens as if he owns them. 😂😂 You can see here clearly how Mzee come to address the nation when not fully understood the context calling for the people to give him information that moment. Their these ministers and technocrats take advantage of giving him information not properly analysed and prove to the nation. Hence realizing it too late that is why he keeps repeating thing and people take his speech as nothing new in it.

This is not a geographic lecture I thought it was a national address . We all knew these things before 40 years ago why don’t you go teach your children and grandchildren who don’t know the geography of Uganda ?
