After this happened he went back into the jail he told another inmate “I just tried to kill the judge” and that’s where attempted murder is coming from.
Having a mental disorder and being informed and not taking your medication doesn't make it the state's problem.. This boy is in trouble regardless of those words. Before he jumped the judge he shouted "No fk you don't.". His family is claiming schizophrenia, well those people don't talk before they murder. Personally I claim they're dense because who the hell comes out and spoils their siblings/sons case. Being mentally ill doesn't stop you from getting life. The prison is full of those people. Including autism. This guy up there is totally grabbing at straws, he's getting the short one. Sarah Boone has a better chance of getting off.
His eyes. He counted the jury, noticed where law enforcement was at, side eyed attorneys and scoped the room in less than a minute. Never let this dangerous man out again.
That stupid "sucking on his bottom lip" face he makes is getting ridiculous. Trying to appear innocent, almost like a child after stealing a cookie. It's not working on me, and hopefully, it's not working on the jury.
@AndersFloor but if you notice, he borrowed the tie of one of his council. The guy next to him didn't have one, and at the end, the guy couldn't get his tie off him fast enough! Hahahahah! Then, on day 2, all 3 had ties on. 🤣🤣
As bad as this was , it might send out a message to all judges that releasing violent offenders over and over again is in no ones best interest other than the criminal.
Because he’s a black man as the evidence seems to suggest that the democratic cities and towns have low/no bail to benefit men like him. I can post links if needed
Nope in the presence of a jury during a trial , that would be extremely predjudical to him. The jury is not supposed to see him in cuffs, orange or anything The NY state court of appeals in state vs Sanders 2023, overturned a guilty verdict based on the fact the judge ordered the accused handcuffed after a verdict was reached, guilt or innocence was unknown, the decision made. A new trial was ordered. Cuffing him would be a major predjudice
2 witnesses in and video, they must of realized a plea would be better than a jury decision . Judges testimony was powerful and hard, Michael was very detailed and a hero for his fast reaction to help his Judge.
@@deronlouis88louis52 sir this has nothing to do with race! This man is dangerous and unhinged. He's proven that he has no regard for the law. I watch Court Cam regularly. I've seen defendants go for guards and even attorneys. NEVER have I EVER seen one attack a judge. He behaved like a wild animal. Hopefully, they have a stun device on him for everyone's safety.
@@deronlouis88louis52you’re a straight up fool for trying to make this about race! Doesn’t matter if you’re red with purple polka dots if you have violent tendencies(which he absolutely does) you should be restrained! The thing ppl don’t seem to understand is that he is restrained by his feet, under the table where no one can see. The man is on trial and not supposed to be handcuffed or have any type of restraints that can be seen or heard by the jury. It’s crazy to me that ppl think he should be chained head to toe with guards all around him while on trial! He still deserves a fair trial like anyone else.
That's because he was applauded and this action was joked about by many of his brothers on social media; no surprise since many of them have the same criminal nature
I don’t understand why there wasn’t a lot of court offices in there around this guy if that was in New York you would’ve had at least three court officers around him stuff like this shouldn’t happen.
WELL PEOPLE ARE PROBABLY TIRED OF THESE HOT SHOT JUDGES THAT ACT LIKE THEY'RE THE END ALL BE ALL AND THEN GIVE THEIR PERSONAL OPINION ON AND DICTATE SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE.
It's funny how Redden occasionally shakes his head at the testimony as if he's got a leg to stand on or a snowballs chance in hell. Any predictions on how long he will serve jail as a result of this? Initially I agreed with some commentators that the attempted murder charge was excessive, but after seeing this testimony. I think they have a good case for attempted murder.
Judge mary is a realy nice and fair judge after his vilont record he deserved prison time he just couldn't take it so he just flipped an boil red an took the matter i his own hands !!! You DONT no matter what attack a judge !!! He deserves all that is coming to him atleast 15 years! He's a danger to society! Hes not crazy he just didn't want prison time im glad he's gunna get allot ov time in prison like I say he's violent an needs to be off the street for the publics safety 😮 !!!!
While I don’t condone the attack on this judge, I do think her choice of words just prior to the attack was extremely unprofessional and provocative. I think it made him snap. I am not suggesting that he shouldn’t be held accountable, though.
She said she appreciated the attorney's point but with his history she couldn't justify another round of probation. What about that is extremely unprofessional?
This is normal. Judges are humans and they do get real with defendants. They have to be. Before they officially declare the sentence, they get the opportunity to just speak their mind. Often, this explains why they give the sentence that they do which is helpful for all parties, as well as on any appeals. It's also the moment a judge gets a shot at getting through to those people who never seem to learn, trying to convince them that they have to stop messing up in the hopes that they'll finally improve after and during they serve their sentence. It's harsh, yes, but it's very much not intended to be a nice occasion. Also, many defendants would prefer a "mean" but vocal judge over one that gives them a sentence but never actually says what they're thinking. I guess if you're gonna sit in a cell for however long, you may start to appreciate knowing why you didn't get probation, even if you hate the judge for it.
1:08:04 genuinely heads off the that law clerk, they are usually amazing at their work and aren’t required to protect the judge yet this clerk jumped to save her. hope they get a good raise lol❤
Very good resolution, hopefully they don't drug him up but get him the help he needs to heal from his mental illness. Nice and compassionate on both sides.
It’s clear he’s not wired correctly. He would have had issues from a kid, but I guarantee his mother didn’t get control on it while bringing him up which has contributed to how he’s behaves now. There’s nothing that mental health can do to sort him out cause that’s just how his brain functions, he believes he’s fine & it’s everyone else that’s the issue. He will try to manipulate the court with mental health talk to get him out of trouble. There’s definitely more to come in the future with this man I guarantee that!
Is he not shackled under the desk like Brooks??? There doesn’t seem much of a Corrections officer presence either! What’s stopping him from launching himself again?
@@kellybrus8663 we can see the video and we heard what the witnesses described. Can we rely on our own judgment as to what it amounts to under the law? If not, why not just play the statement he made in jail and give it to the jury?
I DIDNT SEE HIM SLAM HER HEAD AGAINST THE WALL I SEEM THE GUY GRAB HER HAIR AND GOT INTO A BRAWL WITH THE TWO GUYS BUT NOT SLAM THE OLD LADYS HEAD AGAINST THE WALL. I DON'T THINK HE GOT THE CHANCE TO DO SOMETHING THAT DISGUSTING
@@justthatgirl-ct4jo never thought you could say that no other person who is attacked gets treated fairly.. judge or person walking down a dark alley at night. What’s the difference?
He knocked me out of my shoes i think if you wear high heels they gonna come off easy tbf. Yes it was a shocking scary moment 100% but don't be too dramatic deborah defo wasn't attempted murder
Wow, if someone attacked your wife, mother or daughter, would you be so quick to say they are being “dramatic”? She has every right to speak her truth about how she felt during that moment. To victim shame or claim she is being “dramatic”, because you think high heels easily come off??…absolutely incredibly insensitive and disrespectful of the victim in this situation.
@@randell0101 He literally flew over the bench and body slammed himself into her, repeatedly punching her and pulling her hair out…how is SHE being dramatic?! In your opinion, how?!
I disagree. He clearly stated that he "tried to kill a judge today". That's attempted murder. He's violent. He's had DV arrests/convictions constantly since he was 18. His go to reaction is violence. He would've murdered someone sooner or later. He needed to be taken off the streets before it happened.
