Awesome God bless these people who have been hit by Helene. Please provide for their every need. Give them your grace dunimas/ power to overcome what this disaster has done. Armies of Angels help these victims in every way and keep them safe!! Gather them in prayer to praise you in every situation, and so they know you can only help if they ask. Be brave, ask in abundance!!

How are all these trucks able to gas up?

They have LARGE fuel tanks...fuel is far away. But when diesels idle, they use very little fuel...maybe a gallon an hour...but the tanks are usually around 300 to 500 gallons. Many trucks can go over 1200 miles between fillings. Far less than the politicians jetting all over the world...ignoring Americans...

It's Appalachia...there are few motel rooms...many have left the area. Some stay nearby with family/friends. Bigger problem is that the roads & bridges are destroyed...many places only had 1 way in or out...they were stuck with what they have (or didn't have). Then the FAA/FEMA was blocking air rescue...they were even blocking Elon Musk who was trying to set up StarLink for communication. Then they were blocking private rescue efforts...while stating control, logistics, & safety...but lacking the resources to effectively help at scale.
