Hi Mark, I like what you’ve done. I would like to offer some feedback. I think you could have made the viewing of the house a lot more seamless. You came across quite uncertain about a lot of elements of house and this doesn’t allow for someone to make their own vision of the house or see the potential. I found it a bit take it or leave it. The example are being unsure of the lift, pool water, potential hot plate. Apologising for not taking your shoes off. Maybe just refer to what is there and leave it as that. Too much information of what of you’re not sure about doesn’t give much confidence. It would have been nice for the camera man to have found you in the rooms rather than follow you round. Or the camera man doing shots of going down the stairs and finding you in the pool area so it gives the viewer the feeling of walking down the stairs. Or even finding you up stairs. Panoramic shots of the rooms, so you don’t need to be followed into every space. Those shots would do the work for you with some music on top and you can refer to the most important parts. You sounded uncertain about people even watching the video. What would have been nice was a the start of the video a quick edit of some of the rooms and garden and then the walk through. I think with the right edit, you can capture these beautiful houses and your personality. Hope this helps xx

Thanks for the comment and feedback, it’s very much appreciated. We could have gone with a more polished and sharply presented style but we wanted to go with a more raw approach. Just so people can feel like they’re discovering it for the first time like us, rather than it being some big sales video. But hey, it’s our first long form video and we’ll try to improve each time we do one and definitely take the comments onboard 😊

A few missing keys, patio doors that won't open, you got stuck in the lift, lots of smart technology that you have "no idea how it works!" Can't get the covers off the swimming pool, you can't get out to the garden, a sky light you can't open, the beautiful balcony that you can't get out to!!! Maybe I'm missing a trick, but if I was your "lovely clients" trying to sell my property for £2m, then I would expect you showcasing it at it's best, rather than highlighting a catalogue of issues. At least you're honest and might be an opportunity for a potential buyer to negotiate down to address everything you flagged.

Grotesque. But classic Chislehurst: bags of money and no taste. That yard - the previous owner didn't like greenery, I guess.

Grotesque is a strong word. Wouldn’t say that at all. Yes it needs complete update but you’ve got enough greenery out the back and the previous owners who were elderly, most likely kept things to a minimum to reduce maintenance.
