if you're doing a 16 measure audition cut using the last 16 measures, starting with, "Why do I have to hide what I'm feeling inside", it starts at 2:17

i have a question if you don’t mind, i’m using this song for an audition and i was wondering if the sheet music is particularly hard to sight read. i don’t want to give the pianist complicated sheet music to sight read you know

Hello! For me personally, I didn’t find this hard to sightread (I played this on my second readthrough, after sightreading for the first time) hopefully the pianist in the audition is a cracking sightreader (as they should be!) or will have least played this piece before! So in short, no it isn’t, but obviously this depends on the skill level of the pianist :) hope that helps!

And just a word about giving pianists music- it’s the audition pianist's job to play what’s given to them, regardless of the difficulty- obviously having played for lots of auditions you quickly learn what comes up most often! I wouldn’t stress about giving pianists difficult music, as it reflects on them if they can’t play it. :)
