A guy like this driver hit my dad head on and permanently blinded him. My dad was a mechanical engineer. With the attendant brain damage, my dad turned into a stranger and my family fell apart. Thank you for taking this driver off the road. You might have saved some other family.

I got hit by a drunk driver on Thanksgiving of 2019. I survived but my car got totaled and I have cripping driving anxiety now. My cousin and her family (husband and three kids, 10,8,and 7) were also hit by one. The car was smashed to a pulp but everyone survived. Drunk driving is not a joke and it's the stupidest thing you can do behind the wheel. Please don't do it

Good job to the troopers. I agree with the cops on this one; I myself have 2 misdemeanor D.U.I.'s. It was a process to accept that I was wrong and was putting others in danger. After accepting and making changes I see that one is selfish and many times can be full of excuses.

Drunk driver recently killed a classmate of mine from high school. He was 19. His mom lost her only son. The other classmate in the car lost his leg and shattered his pelvis. He will never walk again. You don't have the right to get wasted and drive.

I am a victim/ SURVIVOR of a Drunk Driver! I have had 20 surgeries just to live, so far, I was 18 at the time, I am now , up in age, My life will NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN! THE GUY THAT GOT ME ONLY GOT 1 NIGHT IN JAIL! AND I WILL BE PAYING WITH MY LIFE. THIS COP IS My HERO! Cops are my heroes, another true story is, in 2016 I was going to do a marathon up in Sacramento for mothers against drunk driving, and so I took a flyer to the CHP office I thought they'd like it, and after I stepped out I took a few steps and fell hit my head on the concrete broke bones in my hand and arm, only to find out I had a brain tumor, so by doing that the cops saved my life and gave me more time,

A drunk driver killed my best friend from childhood, his wife and two of their 5 small children about 10 a.m on a thanksgiving morning as they were making the 30 miles trip to grandmothers house for thanksgiving dinner. Just ask me how much sympathy I have for drunk or impaired drivers.

I feel like he’s been through this before based on how he stood when the cop first approached him, things he said to the officer and because he kept saying “I’ll talk to my lawyer”. Like he knows what he does and doesn’t have to do because he’s been through it before. I don’t know maybe I’m reading into it too much but it seems like he’s been through it all before.

A few weeks ago in my town, a drunk driver ignored a red signal and hit an ambulance at full speed. The ambulance was thrown to the side and killed a guy on his bicycle, who was on his way home to his fiancee. And upon hitting the ambulance, a paramedic trainee was killed instantly. The drunk driver survived.

Funny thing is now a days many states are overturning many DUI convictions due to faulty breathalyzer results. My state was forced to toss out every conviction of almost 4 years time. So let’s not be so quick to judge our friend in the Tacoma 🤓

.08 means you are implied to be intoxicated. But if you blow .02 but are still impaired that's still dui. The number is just the limit where you are assumed to be implied.

Production error in this clip When you watch the video from the very beginning, there are multiple camera views with the officer driving and the hood of his vehicle. The Hood is of that of a Dodge Charger. Clearly the steering wheel is a Ford. On Ford Explorer the hood is pushed down in the middle. Look at 53 seconds you'll see.
