Man, I remember when 8 Balls were 90 bucks in Washington Heights - basically 30 bucks a gram with the last half gram free when you buy 3. Then things got out of hand and some fool shot a cop in the face thru his windshield as he was just driving along and friggin' Giuliani started shutting down whole blocks and sending TNT (tactical narcotics teams) in. The price of a gram jumped up to 50 bucks and it's just gotten worse. Now they don't even really sell weight. You buy a 10, 20, 30, 40 dollar or whatever 'piece,' and you get what you get. It sucks. I lost too much sleep in my party days, so I only do coke a couple or three times a year now. I still smoke weed daily. We stay on our trees here in the Bronx.

Tampering? Really? We saw what the cop saw and he definitely didn't see enough to come to the conclusion that he was trying to dispose of it. If I got caught with a big bag of coke and was about to go to jail I'd probably take a bump before I get arrested . Or maybe I was already holding the bag of coke or my phone and wanted to put it down so the cops don't mistake it for a gun and shoot me. Tampering is a felony, I'm pretty sure a much more serious charge than simple possession so to just throw these charges at people without sufficient proof is ridiculous.We've seen tampering on this show; throwing dope out the window, flushing it down to toilet, etc. I guess they figure this guy is an immigrant so who cares.
