That was my first thought, but it was definitely not that recent of a wound, not mention how quick he calmed down once loaded in the ambulance. He knew he was screwed & used it as an excuse, smart on the cop for seeing through that awful lie. Now not only does he have to pay the DUI cost but the medical as well. 😂 Why idiots think a trip to the ER will actually get them out of arrest &/or tickets is beyond me. I'm an ER RN & know too well how the police just wait for medical clearance & then haul them off.
