It's not common to see a RU-vidr who does reviews showing his talent and actually being good. This is one of those cases. Not only do you show equipment but you also know how to use it very well in addition to making good music.
You have now officially set a new standard for Live Dawless performances. No over kill in gear used. Each piece complements the others in a fine tuned performance. In my opinion you are the John Mayer of electronic music. You know how to manipulate the instruments to do what you want them to do! Just amazing!
Questa performance è l'ennesima meravigliosa scoperta nel mondo della musica elettronica. La presenza dell'uomo dietro la macchina la rende fluida, organica e naturale: un viaggio spirituale verso altre dimensioni.
Thank you for sharing this set. I have the Push non-standalone and I usually just end up using it just as a controller. I hope Ableton will focus their work on making it more powerful and less menu diving. I am all for spending less time in front of my computer when making music, but it is just so much easier and faster than trying to do it on the Push.
Awesome. I first came by to watch you and Sté play with his filterbank (I have two), but I've watched a few more of your vids now -- really nice stuff.
Non so che dire, ti sei superato saltando in un campionato completamente differente. Questo live è SPLENDIDO. E' tutto un piacere da sentire ed è bellissimo il lavoro armonico di reinterpretazione che hai fatto su alcuni pezzi. Being You acquista una profondità pazzesca.... Davvero complimenti!
Wonderful - just great to hear and see you playing your own music - kinda think you are setting a new expecting, as in you might have to do a monthly/quarterly performance in this format! Thanks for sharing!
Such a great set! I love the cinematic feel of it. The amount of time you've spent learning/using your instruments really shows in this. Very inspirational, and the music itself is absolutely beautiful!
Don't get me wrong , it sound completely gorgeous , i know how difficult is to performance live because we only have 2 hands , but you are only putting dub echo and lofi fx's on a pre rendered tracks, i didn't feel the risk or anything alive or impredictable. But again, as tape mix, this is masterful. i hope i am not being rude
well, it is a controversial topic. i have the chance to change the set as i want and play on top. we need to define LIVE, because nowadays people call a dj set LIVE too. im all in to discuss about that :)
and also, to prepare something like this it took months, so there is value there too i think. i come from metal bands so i have been on that side of the livestream show too. you can bring risk, or you can focus on presenting something beautifully. i am still figuring that out!
