I could literally listen to you all day long! You are so cute, so fast and such a delightful young lady. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your tutorials, I am learning so much from you! THANK YOU♥️
Kimberley, you really are the GOAT of quilting and fabric videos. I love my Friday nights where I get the dinner dishes washed and put away then settle in with the video. I loved everything you showed and I always love the new fabrics and other new things. You are such a stellar quilter. Thank you.
Great livestream. I know you don’t have to sew for us Kimberly but I love watching you do it. I pick up hints and tricks just watching. FQS has made me a so much better sewist/quilter. A big plus today I got my new Tula Pink iron yay!
Love watching your videos and seeing your sewing techniques. I really appreciate that you showed us the mistake in Kevin’s quilt and how you decided to just go with it. As a semi-new quilter, I of course make mistakes and sometimes stop working on a project and I need to just keep going.
Thank you for taking us with you step by step on this block. I found another way to put four patches together with strip sets. Here is the info to check it out: Easy 4 patch quilt blocks using strip sets by Scraptastic Patchwork on RU-vid. Save alot of time with less trimming. Thank you for all you share with us FQS team.
They are not mistakes, they are humble blocks. My Grandma, who is 107, said I should never point out my "mistakes", as the recipient will never see them. They will see the love I put into the gift.
All those detailed hints using foundation paper were very helpful. I sometimes would so real well but then didn’t cut straighten up and it to me was extra work having to remake half square triangles. My thought was why use the paper if I’m gonna have to redo them anyway or have to sew and cut perfectly and it’s just impossibly perfect all the time. But great big butt with your hints, And in the end that will save me time. It’s the order of cutting and the fact of ironing between times. 😂I think it’s possible. Thank you, thank you
I always wear shoes. I don’t like to ever go barefoot. My husband and sons are the same and my daughters in law think it’s so strange how we all wear shoes. My husband and I have Birkenstocks that we only wear indoors. I wear them with socks if it’s cold. 😂
Love your Smokey Bear quilt, love in honor of my state and most visited park The Great Smokey Mountains, TN I’m so fortunate to live within an hours drive. If you want to seperate your scraps that go with 2023 mystery quilt I would love to have to add to my quilt I would love for it to be bigger.
On a basic machine, and it would be a 16 threads per inch rather than a 1.5 that’s on a modern machine. You might wanna explain it to the person who asked that question.
Kimberly you are amazing the way you do the math. I am like wait what. I am definitely going to do the trim like you did starting at 6 and then going down. I am in complete awe of you.
I see Kimberly using a journal book. Genius. I got one. Now let’s see if I can keep it up. It is a good idea. Usually I am looking at old pictures trying to figure it out.
Hello Laura! We have the supplies that Kimberly used linked in the description box underneath the title. Here is a link to the Celebrate with Quilts Book: bit.ly/3XnFgqh
Is there a way to look at the live chat someone asked if the 11 sku from strawberry lemonade was being reordered. She said she didn't have enough, and neither did i for last month charity quilt
THAT TINY PILLOW IS AMAZING! Can we at least know the name of the method so that we may attempt to search for it ourselves? I love everything you guys on this channel! Thanks for being here every week. ❤❤❤
Really love the pumpkin licorice line so that is a must have to add to my list this week. I liked the planners as well, very cute and a great stocking stuffer idea. The trivets too would be a great stocking stuffer. The piece and quilt sampler is going to be beautiful when completed. I haven't even started mine yet but I am very grateful for the videos. I will catch up but right now I have 6 quilts in the works plus one on my design wall in the hallway, plus a baby that arrived needs a crib quilt that I hope to complete this weekend. Whew! So I am all over the place but I will catch up soon. Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Father's out there. Happy weekend to you all guys.
From the time you showed the smokey the bear panel I have waiting to see this quilt. It is stunning! This is what a quilt should be, Special for a special person. You are the best, Kimberly!
