Oh how I wish that people have more empathy and respect for life of those beautiful and very sensitive animals .They let them suffers for so long just to save someone else life .There is another ways to do it without hurting another living souls .I am so happy for sweet Precious and her friends are free after so many years of abuse .Thanks to all kind and generous people who helped those animals and give them chance to live better life with dignity 💓 🐒 💓
No this should not be happening to torture animals for so long then release them out frightened and confused their true lives taken from them is an abomination.
I’m so pissed at humanity that they have squandered the best years of these chimps live, but thank God you guys are finally giving them the joy they deserve ! Great job,God is smiling on all of you…..🙏❤❤❤❤
I love chimps and gorilla I’m a big fan of project chimps I love apes if you ever watch them on tv or get to see them in the flesh they are amazing animals and thanks to the gheisar family who are one of my favourite family and Bryce is one of my favourite actors anyway I love watching the chimps on project chimps you guys are doing a great job as your their voices as humans should be hurting or killing animals as we are their voices Go project chimps
Thank you for saving these beautiful chimpanzees. Seeing their social responses, encouragements and hugs really drives home the fact they were aware they were being harmed and hurt and that isn’t ok. Thankfully you’ve saved them and they can live happily and without pain in their forever homes.
@@jimbobojim4634 Do you know the exact background of where they came from, and what they've been through? What would you suggest happens to them? Let me guess your answer...put them in the wild where they belong..
@@minz55555 yes, they do it in Africa successfully all the time. The reintroduce chimps to the wild. They first put them in a troop, then as the troop develops, they normally transfer them to an island habitat. There is absolutely NO REASON to keep them imprisoned. Maybe you should educate yourself before you speak without research.
@@jimbobojim4634 It's very presumptuous of you to think I'm not educated on the topic. I'm a vegan (for the animals first), and would love for all animals to live their best life. You have to be mindful of the health of the chimps/apes, many of whom are geriatric and have been injected with hepatitis and HIV. Many suffer from diabetes, kidney disease, and heart disease. Putting them on an island sounds ideal and wonderful, but it has to be done in a safe way, because we owe a lot to these chimps. Some have not survived on the islands. Those are just a few things mentioned. There's way more involved.
@@minz55555 Your doctorate in Veganism holds no water in what is humane. These are wild animals that should not be locked away in a Super Max prison under the guise of "sanctuary".
Such an important moment but I was disappointed with the angle of camera ! Could not see them coming out and their reactions and what they were looking at! But there are other videos which show their amazement of first being in the open so all good. Overall, lots of great footage and exploring . Thank you for your hard work! They sooooo deserve this magical place!
Yes Amen to our sweet cousin's Thank you so much for being there for them and sharing their long awaited humanity to just be free on land they can call home now. 💜🐵💜
Thank You so much for doing this for them & sharing this with Us! Your Channel should be far bigger than it is! I'll do My best to share Your videos on the Public pages I run & co run & Tweet etc
Thank you for going above and beyond for these beautiful animals. After all the pain and suffering they’ve endured I’m happy to see that they get to enjoy their new life in an amazing way, it seems that you’ve replicated their lives in the forest to the best of your ability and the chimps will thrive and hopefully let go of their tortured pasts. Good luck Chimps thank you for your contributions to science even though you didn’t deserve it you took it in stride and now you can live out the rest of your lives in the best way possible
Hello, I absolutely love what you all are doing for these beautiful primates. I have a question please. What do you do for the chimps in inclimate weather? Or tornadoes since Georgia has a lot of tornadoes? Thank you and I will be contributing as much as I can to help more chimps to realize freedom.
That looks like a really well-thought-out facility. Did you guys think about using sufficiently tall Plexiglas barriers rather than electrified wire-topped chain-link? Seeing as I'm sure then can climb chain-link no problem. Hmm, probably too expensive, eh? And I suppose they won't touch that wire more than once. :-) Lots of questions. But I'll watch all your videos first.
To: Schwenksvillemom - Ha, ha! As the reply from Project Chimps states, they have become somewhat accustomed to the 'luxuries' provided, such as food or shelter from excessive elements. However, unless for a perceived greater benefit, why close the doors. Personally, it would be a wonder to behold to see one go out at night, climb a tree, build a nest and sleep safely in the knowledge of it's true identity. As the saying goes, "Caesar is home".
I apologize on behalf of humanity for the barbaric treatment of these lovely sentient beings before. The pharmaceutical industry has made billions off them, so they could afford to retire them humanely, BUT just abandoned them. So happy, people with heart and ethics give them a good life now. So deserving. Blessings to all the chimps, may they have peace and haPPINeSS after years of a torturous existence.
You do wonderful work. Please help me understand - isn't this already a stressful new experience for the chimps? Do all those people and the additional noise and commotion make it harder for the chimps? Would it be easier for them to just have caregivers they know and trust? I mean no disrespect. You are the experts. But those questions arose for me.
Great questions, Trish. The transition can be stressful for the chimps, but they adjust to their new care team very well. Some former research chimps are more human-oriented than others, depending upon their histories.
I wonder if you have any blueberry bushes planted that would be a great food for them the voyage on their own for, also, we need fruit trees that might grow in your area apples oranges pairs, stuff like that, and maybe even some pecan trees since they like nuts
Im heartbroken. Because my country is allowing tests to be performed on chimpanzees and probably orangutans. I understand that we are close to our brethren and they look up to us for safety. I cannot accept medical tests on Monkeys period.
If u know they ar wild animals why u kept them in a that bloody lab for a yrs? Let them live their own life. They belong to wild they have feelings and personality
Apparently you dont know what this is about. These are chimps that were used for research. They lived in very small cages, they have never been on the outside. This is heaven for them after years being in small cages and used for experiments.
So you think the cage they were in for nearly 30 yrs was a better place or send them out in the wild where they would surly not survive, come on use your head before engaging your mouth.
The naïveté of the posters never ceases to amaze me. These animal’s are “stone cold” killers with a viciousness hither to unimaginable by most. And yet the should be allowed to exist In their natural element unimpeded by humans. However, the attempt to personify these creatures is just silly - highly intelligent, curious and adaptive they are nonetheless wild animals - physical contact, with adults pan troglodytes, should be avoided at all costs, The informed and knowledgeable trainers know and practice this as though their lives depend on it - because it does.
Yes, chimps can and have killed, but I think you're describing the chimps' closest relatives, humans. And chimps do have individual personalities; we have decades of research by dedicated field scientists like Jane Goodall to confirm this. These chimps, in particular, have had no social contact other than human researchers and breeders prior to coming here, so they have picked up behavioral traits that are more human than chimp.
I love this iam very happy for these precious girls, but next time less recording of those kids and try zooming in on the chimps please Thanks. P.s Go Vegan
