Love how all the quilts are totally different just because of color. Love that we as quilters are starting to strip piece the backs. It is pretty but economical.

Kimberly. Oh my gosh. I followed this case like a crazy person! LOL. I am not into true crime but for some reason this case just had me caught. I don’t have audible but I downloaded a month free subscription so I could get the book. Can’t wait to listen. Thank you for the tip! Oh yeah and loved todays livestream as always! So good to see Kimberly back, even though it was only 2 weeks ago, it seems so long between live streams... I absolutely loved seeing the Moonbeams Quilts using different fabrics... It's remarkable, what a difference, different fabrics make to a pattern... I must say, I am missing the weekly live streams, the updates on projects and the sewing demonstrations of the past... But totally understand, that family commitments take priority and must come first... Maybe, other staff members or guest presenters could do the live streams when Kimberly is busy... Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule for making these live streams, I really appreciate everything that Kimberly and the FQS Team do... xo

I enjoy reading true crime, too. I followed the Alex Murdaugh murder trial, too. We have vacationed in that area of South Carolina many times, so, I was very curious about the case. When you have lawyers in the family, like I do, these kind of cases do tend to capture your attention and you view the case like a law school exercise. I get a thorough law school lesson when I watch these kinds of trials. You go over the evidence, the prosecution and defense case and break it down. Is the evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime? How did the judge rule on evidence motions? It is fascinating to watch trials. I will go check out the Murdaugh book. The late Ann Rule has written some great books. I have several true crime books about the Amish. John Douglas, a former FBI agent, has written some outstanding books about the criminals he has studied and arrested in his career. One book of his scared me so much, I finished it and immediately donated it to my local library. The book was so scary I couldn't keep it on my bookshelf because it disturbed me that much.
