@@WhiteWizzard I think Kyle is trying to make Purdy (and the entire team) into something they're not. Too many downfield passes, not enough YAC, too many turnovers, too little red zone production. He abandoned the short game and it's killing them.
Been saying this- Goal is always to win the division- this division sucks but still. This team is looking old and tired. All the SB talk NFC championship talk premature. The lions would smoke this team and the Vikes already have.
He can complete the deep ball, but that's never been his forte. Kyle is trying to turn him into something he's not. Brock is nails in the short to intermediate. He dices you up in that region of the field, and as soon as the defense starts anticipating that, you have him go deep, and it's almost like the defense forgets he's capable of doing it. That's how he works well. He's not going to beat any good defense formulaically lining up in shotgun and going downfield on 80% of his snaps.
I think krueger youre not realistic. They wont make the nfc championship let alone th3 superbowl.. and they dont deserve to win the superbowl. Not this team.

KC is (6-0) with a depleted WR room!! Incredible defense, hard nosed smash mouth run game and QB that right now is not playing great due to depleted WR room & turnover bug but at his worst still makes one or two clutch back breaking plays!! If at minimum the turnovers stop, this team is damn near inevitable and unstoppable. It has to be frustrating for the AFC & NFL as a whole that Chiefs are (6-0) despite an injured depleted WR room & turning the ball over every game
The Chiefs have two things the 49ers do not: creativity on offense and the best QB in the league. With that creativity, the Chiefs are able to use whatever personnel they have to move the chains. Mahomes does the rest. They know who they are, and aren't trying to be something they're not just to prove the pundits wrong. Notice how Shanahan has seemingly decided to abandon everything the 49ers used to do. He again has preemptively "adapted" (in his own mind) before anyone proved they could stop what he was doing before. The offense looks formulaic and discombobulated. They aren't built to be a drop back passing team. Their O line is average at best in pass protection. Their QB's arm isn't a laser beam. They don't have receivers that routinely get separation outside of Kittle. Brock was also without CMC, a healthy Mason, Aiyuk, Deebo, and Jennings when he was trying to mount a comeback. Mahomes had very few weapons either, but he's Mahomes. Brock can't put the team on his back and make Ronnie Bell into a legitimate receiver. He'll never be that guy.
There is no point in looking back at what we did two or three seasons ago. We are a different team now: older players, more injuries, and a weaker roster.
@@brandonderrick006 Pat makes plays when it counts and Brock doesn't. That has been the overall trend. But Mahomes hasn't played that well overall this year, and yesterday was no exception. He turns in a game like that against an opponent with a healthier and more functional offense and he's cooked.
@@googleisskynet7312 I’m not sure about that. That defense is great and that interior OL was moving the 49ers all around. They are elite in the trenches and can rush. Mahomes just needs to do enough and he does.
@@brandonderrick006 He converted some crucial plays, but he just had the worst passing rating of his career. He isn't playing well, and yes, that is largely due to his lack of weapons. But when Purdy has no weapons and plays poorly, no one is giving him any flowers because the 49ers don't win when Purdy plays poorly. They aren't good enough in other phases to win games in spite of Purdy playing poorly. Mahomes has an elite O line, an elite D, elite special teams, etc. He relied on the run game, defense, and special teams to win yesterday. He plays like that against a more complete team like the Vikings, Texans, Steelers, or Lions and no amount of 3rd down shenanigans and help from the zebras is going to carry him over the finish line.
He's crap when he goes away from what works best for his personnel. He's not using them properly, and even if he was, there is no creativity in his offense anymore. No tunnel screens. No jet sweeps. A lot less play action. There is nothing tricky at all about what they're trying to do on offense. They're formulaic and predictable and slow. Add into that equation a slew of injuries to key personnel, their roster being one of the oldest in the league, the demoralization of losing so many huge games in the past five years, a bunch of guys who just got paid who aren't playing hungry, and the fallout from having very few early draft picks the last three years...this is the result of all that.
First I think assuming they make the playoffs is bold. Secondly if we lose to the cowboys then we need to be selling at trade deadline. Trade deebo and ward for draft picks, also just shut down cmc til next season. It isn’t our year and that’s ok as long as we gear up for next season.
why is there an assumption that they're going to win the west? The Rams are gonna get better, Seahawks aren't going away. Seahawks have an easier schedule also. Even if we beat the Seahawks, they might finish with the better record.
It was a battle of attrition on both sides...what we seen today was one team with a superb coach that makes adjustments midgame, adapts, innovates and another that doesn't or simply can't...shanahan cannot get it done...this team is ill -prepped, undisciplined and lost...doesn't matter what happens next week or even thereafter because the chiefs are gonna be there at the end of the road and we can't beat em... simple, shanahan can't beat em!

Cmon Larry. There is only one offensive player I can get behind on this team and that’s Kittle. The Niners are done for the season. Need all new QUALIFIED coaches. And what did Persall do as a first round draft pick? He was injured when he was drafted. I’m glad he is ok but Cmon. Getting a somewhat competent HC in the NFL is never a given. Can Kyle be super frustrating? YES Does Kyle have weaknesses you wish he could overcome? I don't want to fire kyle, but he needs to evolve and get better, the league has gone in new directions. He has been spoiled by riches, and now needs to get back to drawing up all those plays. If you can do it for Trey, you can do it with Brock.
Look on the bright side. Purdy struggling and the team missing the playoff means you don’t have to pay him the top money. It may actually benefit the team in the long run

Chiefs wouldn’t be the Chiefs without NFL golden child Mahomes + refs. Andy Reid was a good HC but not great until Mahomes arrived and then get help out by refs

Systems approach would point to lack of coordination in both preparation and execution. Talent is there, but it’s disjointed and inconsistent. Each phase of the game has a coordinator. They just plain ain’t doin it. Time to let Staley take over the defense and move Sorensen to Special Teams. Shaking the organization up has a beneficial effect in itself. No room for pals

Shanahan is the worst time management coach in the NFL. There's never a sense of urgency when they're behind in the 4th quarter. They never run the hurry up when they should.
CMC came in a couple of years ago when they were 3-4 and saved their season, but I don't think he still has it in him, and Brock can't carry a team when the coach has lost the locker room.
Brock ain't that guy to begin with, he is great when we are in command, but he has failed time and again to get us close game wins. Edit: I'm not sticking up for Kyle, I agree he has lost a portion of the locker room, and is the most overrated coach in the NFL.

RED ZONE Only noticed one play that Masson maybe should have ran at Puni and didn't. #22 scraped the line hard so Masson thought he should jump cut behind him. Maybe wrong choice. Masson is not the red zone problem. The line needs to open some creases. Masson has 600 yrds ? Another back is not the fix. 49ers O line is misleading. Gives you running yardage but not when you need it the most.
what the niners needed was a decent performance that's how the Media should of promoted the game, i see a lack of confidence from the Offensive which i haven't seen under Purdy - The problem it was a terrible loss, loosing would of been alright if the performance, was better ,
They miss two people immensely- CMC and Greenlaw. One is the Enforcer on D and the other is the Key cog to the O- Don’t know how they will play when and if they return but those two are sorely missed. However, even if they were to play this game they would still lose- 90% mental like Trent said.
I hated this game. Seeing it in person was extremely sad. Seeing Brandon Aiyuk go down almost brought me to tears. Can the 49ers survive without CMC,Jennings,Aiyuk and Samuels? Reported Shanahan chewed out Purdy in front of the press in locker room after Kyles' presser - which seems to convey Shanahan blaming Purdy for the loss. Wouldn't talking to Purdy & QB Coach privately be more appropriate? Would like to hear Krueg thoughts on this if true.

You just said it yourself that Kyle runs everything. He’s had almost a decade possibly passing Walsh in years with 49ers and Kyle has underachieved, but you want to fire the special teams coach? You guys are so unserious about the success of this team. This team is old and the coach is out of touch. Steve spagnuolo has single handedly defeated kyle Shanahan in 5 straight games. Kyle and his garbage defensive coordinator are just not the answer. Notice how the chiefs and ravens games had similar outcomes. Both teams stacked the box with designed blitze packages and stunt packages and kyle refusing to change the play at the line of scrimmage. Meanwhile the 49ers run the same shit soft coverage defense, no blitzes allowing mahomes to either throw or pass from these gapping lanes. Has anyone seen trent williams? The guy had been getting pushed back or not creating the same lanes he did for cmc last year. Purdy refusing to use his legs from the startbof the game as if he was beyond timid
