Also went from screaming and cheering when Lewis crossed the line to immediately bursting into tears because I was SO stressed for the last ten laps (I watched the race back again yesterday to properly take all the commentary in, and I still cried). What a race, what a legend and unbelievable driver Lewis is 👏

I didn't even celebrate, I couldn't get it out because I was sobbing my eyes out so hard, what a day, we've waited so long, we've endured so much pain with 2021 and the last 2 and half years but finally at our home, his redemption!

Idk why I just had this feeling that I needed to watch this race. Woke up at 12AM, worth it.

I am a grown man with grandchildren and I shed a tear as well. This was not only about the win drought. This was about the Abu Dhabi 2021 injustice when the F1 establishment deliberately robbed him of a deserved eighth world title.

I was literally getting on a flight AS THIS RACE WAS HAPPENING. I tried to get Wi-Fi on the flight but it didn't work, sadly. I got to my hotel, passed out, woke up at 10pm, and then proceeded to watch the entire race in full and cried for about two hours afterwards. GET IN THERE LEWIS!

This was so lovely to watch. After watching yesterday's (and most of them tbf) race alone while screaming about it in the family f1 group chat, I reckon it'd be lovely to sit and watch a race with you lot. McLaren team were reactive in their bad decisions rather than being upfront and assertive. Giving an irrational Lando tyre options instead of taking the right call didn't help them either. Oscar was robbed of a potential podium. Although they have the best car and great drivers, McLaren as a team is pretty average and mediocre. But all in all a fantastic race and immensely happy for Sir Lewis Hamilton finally winning a home race after 2.5 years. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
