I agree, and Kinsley is an old soul, to. She was so caring towards baby Cassidy when she was still illl and also was so sweet and deer to the old golden retriever (forgot her name!) they adopted. And she looks after her sisters so well. I wish I had had her for an older sister when I was a kid.
Calli is the pet whisperer....she's so gentle and loving with all the animals....she may grow up to be a veterinarian....or a farmer...whatever she does she will be the best at it
She didn't say a word or any facial expression/reaction! "I'm trying to figure it out and how I feel", maybe? She is precious! They all are...She has a pure empathetic soul for such a young girl ♡
So gorgeous. Both Buttercup and Wesley, they are just so special. They only advice I would give, is to be extra careful and not get behind Buttercup unless you really have to. I’m sure you have noticed that she is extra cautious and even a bit jumpy and as much as she loves and trusts you guys, when it comes to her baby, if you give her a fright accidentally, which is extremely easy to do, she will naturally lash out, kick out behind her. While a backwards kick from a nervous mama cow, could REALLY hurt an adult, with the strength of Buttercup and the size of your children…… She would lash out if she got a fright from a sudden movement or noise from behind her, not knowing what or who it is. It’s that whole thing of cows being prey animals. Protecting her baby. So much love to you all. 🥰🙏🏼💜🌸
Who would of thought when I started watching y'all 6 years ago you would be celebrating the birth of your first calf now? It's been a beautiful & sometimes sad journey but watching your family grow as been a wonderful journey! I love that you are living your best life with the girls! They have grown so much 🥰
Omg the moment when callie is silent and just hugs the calf is so beautiful to watch. She just focuses on touch to communicate with the calf. Her priority was the calf not us the humans. Cali is very special

I love that Princess Buttercup trusts you guys unconditionally, as most first time mums are very protective of their baby, yet Buttercup has let you near Wesley since he was born. She is such a good mummy. Callie Jo is definitely the little animal whisperer, her calming nature, truly is beautiful to watch. As Wesley is a boy, will you guys be keeping him or finding him his forever home?
I just hope he doesnt end up being another meat on peoples plate. It breaks my heart knowing that the Wesley will be taken away from Buttercup eventually 😢
@@ruxandrapaveloana1825 The plan is to sell him to another miniature or midsize jersey farm for him to be able to bred cows. They are going to blood test him to see if qualified for carrying the A3 milk protein since buttercup is a registered A2 dairy cow.

I loved how Callie was not afraid at all, just taking things in slowly and calmly. That type of approach to life will help her later. I couldn’t help but laugh, though, how Cassidy was NOT having the blindfold at all 😂 Do you think you’ll breed Buttercup again next year? How long will she continue to produce milk after Wesley is weaned? This is going to be an interesting journey through the winter. It’s certainly an experience the older girls won’t soon forget 👍

Cows are one of the easiest farm animal to care for. Buttercup is very attentive so you have no worries there, the biggest thing by far that you need to do, is a safe and secure paddock that Wesley can’t escape from

When Callie is speechless with love you know it's beautiful 💕💕 Im still just amazed at how gentle Buttercup is being with everyone with her new baby and her being a new momma. You can tell she really loves and trust y'all.

Seeing Buttercup with her baby makes me so happy for her and him that they get to be together, for now. It also makes me very sad for all the mommy cows (and goats), who’s baby gets taken away right from birth. This, and how the slaughterhouses are run, are the main reason we don’t eat meat any longer.

1,000 people with farm animal experience said NOT to let the kids get close to a new mama. I am not a farmer in the least and it makes common sense to me…. why would you risk your safety and the natural instincts of the animals… they DONT need your help.. you DONT know better than Buttercup how to care for her baby.
