It’s called HIPAA. Most of the time not even first responders learn what happen to their patients. Once the patient is transferred to a higher level of care, it is against HIPAA laws for anyone to “reach out” to a patient for a status on their condition. The patient has to consent to having their face on camera and they have to be the ones who reach out to you to give an update on their condition, if they choose.
I live in Gilbert, AZ and this happens a lot. A lot of times people bring little to no water, and sometimes people even think it's a good idea to go "hiking" after happy hour or bottomless mimosas lol this may not be the case, but it happens
Arizona is no joke in the summer! I’ve lived here for 37 years. I can’t express how important it is to make sure you stay hydrated and especially don’t hike at the hottest times of the day. Early mornings are the best and safest time to go.
What the heck!? Wearing black too? Somethings not right. Btw, you're all wearing black. Should invest in some reflective colors at least for your shirts.
Good thing there was a A& E camera crew on hand at the scene or we wouldn't be able to watch this amazing rescue of a lone female hiker in the middle of the Arizona desert wearing dark clothing... in the middle of summer...
KaylaGuard 123 he said it was 112° you would probably be dead in a few hours without water especially if she already passed out 😳. Hopefully she’s got water and is doing better 🙏🏼🙏🏼
KaylaGuard 123 for example if she left in the morning had no one known where she was, she probably wouldn’t have been alive if a missing hikers report was filed during let’s say 6pm or the next day with the humidity and how dehydrated she was.
The hottest I’d go hiking is 103, 112 is too hot especially for someone who doesn’t hike in hot weather a lot. I spend my summers in Phoenix, AZ and my winters in Northern Minnesota so I’m used to extreme weather. You have to take the weather seriously and find some shade if you start to overheat.
Why don't you guys have full episodes on your website if you're advertising it? I've been waiting for you guys to post season 1 and season 2 online or even OnDemand, but there's none.
These hikers are very very Stupid I have been on that same hike but would only do it when its winter! You can't fix stupid and you can't climb rock or hike in this weather! Seems very suicidal to me and then they got hot and called for help!
Your body literally can’t cool itself down after 110 hiking in the Arizona summer is just stupid and people bring a small bottle of water and think they’ll be fine
What are you talking about? She was in the ambulance within 60 seconds of the UTV stopping and on the way to the hospital. That was a load and go, there is nothing they can do on scene that they can’t do in the ambulance driving to the hospital and that’s the most important thing. They could’ve been more gentle moving her but other than that what’s the issue?
