My thoughts while watching the documentary and the beginning of this episode: even if they tried to portray Vince as a better guy than they did it would have been so obvious. I have been a wrestling fan for only 2 years (Vince left and I appeared 😄) and from what I've heard during this time, from your podcast, from other places, from wrestlers sharing bits and pieces of information about their experience with Vince, I had already heard most of the stories in the documentary. I would say the thing that surprised me was that the creators didn't spare him and you can imagine the sigh I let out the moment I heard Bruce say that he didn't like how Vince was portrayed. 😅😅 As a woman I can't even try to imagine how all the women must have felt during their time at the company during Vince's run, how unsafe they must have felt. Vince truly brought to life this thing that I have fallen in love with but that doesn't necessarily excuse anything that his accomplishments made him feel that he was allowed to do. Anyway, thank you Matt for always sharing your unique point of view with us! And thanks to your team for helping you bring it to life!
